Abstract: An optical system is provided, including a light source, a light shape adjusting element, a light guiding module, and a driving assembly. The light source emits a light beam in a first direction, and the light shape adjusting element changes a cross-section of the light beam from a first shape to a second shape. The light guiding module includes a base and a light guiding element connected to the base for changing the propagation direction of the light beam from the first direction to a second direction. The driving assembly drives the light guiding element to move relative to the base.

Abstract: A lens driving mechanism is provided for driving a first lens and a second lens to move, wherein light enters the first and second lenses along a light incident direction. The lens driving mechanism includes a first base movably connected to the first lens, a first driving assembly, and a second driving assembly. The first driving assembly has a first magnet and a first coil corresponding thereto for moving the first lens. The second driving assembly has a second magnet and a second coil corresponding thereto for moving the second lens. The first magnet is adjacent to the second magnet, and the polar direction of the first magnet is parallel to the light incident direction.

Abstract: A lens module comprises a frame, a lens unit, and a driving module for driving the lens unit to move relative to the frame. The lens unit comprises a body made of plastic, at least one lens located in a center of the body, and an embedded member made of metal. The metal embedded member is embedded within a thinner rim portion of the lens unit by means of a plastic insert-molding process in such a manner that, at least one protrusion of the metal embedded member is exposed outside of the rim portion. When the lens unit moves relative to the frame, a location where the lens unit might touch the frame is one of the at least one protrusion, and therefore the structural strength, endure ability of impact and endure ability of friction at the rim portion of the lens unit are increased. In addition, the protrusion can also act as a positioning post or winding post for a coil of the driving module. Or, the coil can also be electrically connected to the protrusion such that the metal embedded member can transmit electric current for the coil.

Abstract: A camera system including a telephoto lens module is provided. The telephoto lens module includes a first image sensor, a first assembly, and a second assembly. The first assembly includes a first driving mechanism and a reflecting member connected to the first driving mechanism. The first driving mechanism is configured to drive the reflecting member to rotate around a first axis and a second axis. The second assembly is disposed between the first assembly and the first image sensor, including a second driving mechanism and a first lens. The second driving mechanism is configured to drive the first lens to move along a third axis. The first, second, and third axes are not parallel to each other. When light enters the telephoto lens along the first axis, light is reflected by the reflecting member and through the first lens along the third axis to the first image sensor.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an aperture unit having an optical axis. The aperture unit includes a fixed portion, a movable portion, a first blade and a driving component. The movable portion is movably connected to the fixed portion, the first blade movably connects to the movable portion and the fixed portion, and the driving component connects to the movable portion to move the movable portion relative to the fixed portion in a first moving dimension. When the movable portion is moved relative to the fixed portion in the first moving dimension, the first blade is driven by the movable portion to move relative to the fixed portion in a second moving dimension, and the first moving dimension and the second moving dimension are different.

Abstract: An electromagnetic driving device is provided, which includes a stationary portion, a movable portion adapted to support an element, a number of rolling balls, a driving magnet, a driving coil, and a magnetic attraction element. The stationary portion and the movable portion are arranged along a main axis. The rolling balls and the driving magnet are positioned between the stationary portion and the movable portion. The driving coil is arranged to correspond to the driving magnet and configured to enable the movement of the movable portion along a direction perpendicular to the main axis. The magnetic attraction element is arranged to correspond to the driving magnet. The magnetic force between the magnetic attraction element and the driving magnet is greater than the sum of the weight of the movable portion, the element, and the magnetic member.
