摘要： An apparatus for reducing an image forming time period includes a rotatable image bearing member, a charging device for charging the image bearing member, an image forming device for forming an image on the image bearing member which was charged by the charging device, a transfer material bearing member for holding a transfer material and for conveying the transfer material to a transfer station regarding the image bearing member, a transfer device for electrostatically transferring the image formed on the image bearing member onto the transfer material held by the transfer material bearing member at the transfer station, and a restraint device which prevents the charge on the transfer material bearing member from being transmitted when an area on an image bearing member which is to be compacted with the transfer material held on the transfer material bearing member during image transferring is situated at the transfer station before an operation of the transfer device is started. In the present apparatus, the charging is effected by the charging device, image formation is effected by the image forming device, and image transferring is effected by the transfer device being started during the same one revolution of the image bearing member.

摘要： An image forming apparatus includes an image carrier for carrying an image, and a transfer medium bearing member for bearing and conveying a transfer medium to a transfer unit of said image carrier. The transfer medium bearing member is able to bear multiple transfer media concurrently. The apparatus includes transfer device for transferring the image of the image carrier onto the transfer medium borne on the transfer medium bearing member in the transfer unit, and a plurality of transfer media capable of being borne on the transfer medium bearing member concurrently, wherein in consecutively transferring the image onto the transfer media of the number not divisible by the maximum sheet bearing number by which said transfer medium bearing member is capable of bearing the transfer media concurrently. The number of transfer media that the transfer medium bearing member concurrently bears at the n-th time where n is a natural number equal to or greater than two, is not less than the number of transfer media that it bears concurrently at the n-1-th time. In transferring the image consecutively as above, the number of sheets that the transfer medium bearing member concurrently bears at the final time is greater than the number of transfer media that the transfer medium bearing member concurrently bears at the first time.

Pulse-width modulation of the input signal is achieved thorugh comparison with a second signal of a predetermined shaped, for example a triangular signal. In order to avoid the influence of fluctuating factors in pulse-width modulation, the apparatus also has a third signal generator, and the pulse-width modulated signal or a pattern signal generated by the third signal generator is selectively used for image formation.

摘要： [Problems] A disposable cell counting board in which a space formed by a counting board body and an upper plate is fixed in advance, and which does not require assembling by a cell counting worker, and which can be mass-produced at low costs, is provided.[Means for Solving Problems] The cell counting board comprises a main body and a cover plate attached to the main body. The main body comprises a planar lands positioned at a lower position by a predetermined distance with respect to the top face of the other part than the lands, a counting sections provided at the lands, and four projection sections in the vicinity of the lands for positioning and fixing the cover plate above the lands. The cover plate has engagement holes formed at locations corresponding to the projection sections. A space of the predetermined distance, 0.1 mm, is generated between the top face of the lands and the bottom face of the cover plate, when the cover plate is attached to the main body by engaging each of the projection sections with the corresponding engagement hole.
