Abstract: A method, device, and computer-readable medium provide for establishing, by a repeater device, a communication channel with a fixed wireless access (FWA) device; receiving, by the repeater device, reference signals from a wireless station; forwarding, by the repeater device, the reference signals to the FWA device; transmitting, by the repeater device, a first uplink signal from the FWA device using a first transmission power level to the wireless station, wherein the first transmission power level is a predetermined value; receiving, in response to the first uplink signal, transmit power control (TPC) command parameters from the FWA device via the communication channel; adjusting, by the repeater device and based on the first TPC command parameters, the first transmission power level from the predetermined value to an adjusted value; and transmitting, at the adjusted transmission power level, a second uplink signal from the FWA device to the wireless station.

Abstract: A method for prioritizing scanning to improve system acquisition includes scanning, by a user equipment device (UE), for base stations associated with a first radio access technology (RAT); establishing, by the UE, a first wireless channel between the UE and a first base station based on the first RAT; determining, by the UE, whether information associated with a second RAT was received via the first wireless channel; scanning, by the UE, for base stations associated with the second RAT in response to receiving the information via the first wireless channel, where the scanning is based on the received information; determining, by the UE, whether a second wireless channel based on the second RAT is established between the UE and a second base station; and camping, by the UE, on the second base station associated with the second RAT in response to determining that the second wireless channel was established.

Abstract: A fixed wireless access device may include a memory configured to store instructions and a processor configured to execute the instructions to activate a Fifth Generation (5G) scanning mode and scan for 5G wireless signals associated with a provider that is also associated with the fixed wireless access device. The processor may be further configured to detect a 5G wireless signal associated with the provider; determine a signal strength for the detected 5G wireless signal; and generate an indication of the determined signal strength to be displayed in a user interface associated with the fixed wireless access device.

Abstract: A user device may request an account type identifier that identifies an account type associated with the user device. The user device may receive the account type identifier based on requesting the account type identifier. The user device may compare the account type identifier and a set of account type identifiers corresponding to a set of user device configurations to be enabled or disabled by the user device based on the account type identifier. The user device may enable a first subset of user device configurations, included in the set of user device configurations that are associated with the account type identifier. The user device may disable a second subset of user device configurations, included in the set of user device configurations that are not associated with the account type identifier.
