Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for installing a bulkhead in a wind turbine blade. The bulkhead comprises attachment means for attaching the bulkhead to the root end of the blade; a movement device moves the bulkhead into the installation position; the moving comprising engaging the attachment means of the bulkhead with receiving means of the root end, the receiving means being arranged and adapted to receive and hold the bulkhead by engaging with the attachment means of the bulkhead; and adhering the bulkhead to the wind turbine blade. A bulkhead for use in the method is also provided.
