摘要: A method and system for tracing the identity of an agricultural product comprises holding an agricultural product in a container having a tag. A container identifier of the tag is determined by reading the tag. Ancillary data is generated and is associated with a container location and the reading time. The ancillary data may include a status indicator (e.g., transaction descriptor) for the product, a custodian identifier or both. The container identifier and the ancillary data is transmitted for storage in a data storage system. A product-flow description (e.g., chain of custody) is established for the agricultural product for transport of the product from the origination location to the destination location.

摘要: A method and system of tracing an agricultural product relates to recording of at least one of planting information, growing information, harvesting information, chemical information, and weather information (e.g., electronically recorded) concerning a crop to form a data profile for a corresponding crop. Once harvested, the crop is segregated from intermixing with other harvested crops by placing the crop in one or more containers, each having a corresponding identifier. The data profile is associated with the container profile for later referencing of the data profile.

摘要: A device is used in the harvesting of green fodder for feeding a fodder preserving liquid. The device includes a vane-like sensing element located inside the cutting machine and turning in the approximate direction of the fodder flow depending upon the quantity of fodder which has been cut. The fodder preserving liquid flows into the machine from a container through a valve and a nozzle unit. The sensing element regulates the valve and thus regulates the quantity of preserving liquid supplied to the fodder.

A device for spreading grain in the cells of a silo or for discharging it therefrom comprises a scraping conveyer 8 mounted in a beam 4 which is movable vertically by a winch drum 6 driving cables 3 which support the beam from carriers 27 running on cross-rails 26 in turn supported on carriers 1 running on beams 2. The conveyer 8 is driven by toothed wheels 7 through reduction gearing 12 and may be in the form of bars carried by parallel chains or a single band having ribs stamped therefrom with rigid scrapers provided on the rear face. The conveyer 8 may be extended along a secondary horizontally and vertically pivotable beam 28 provided with a guiding passage 32 to form an elevator to unload the grain into transport means 35. In one form, Fig. 1 (not shown), the beam 4 supports two conveyers, mounted endto-end and driven in opposite directions to feed the material towards the centre or altematively the sides of the silo. In other forms, the conveyers 8 are screws either mounted on the beams or freely supported in bearings. Anchoring feet may be provided to prevent the conveyers sinking into the grain.
