    摘要: A cross flow aeration system for aerating particulate materials disposed in a storage bin. The aeration system comprises a plurality of elongated hollow aerators. Each aerator is disposed inside the storage bin in proximity to an inside wall thereof having a substantially vertical orientation and has at least an opening for transmitting air from inside the aerator to the particulate materials. At least a blowing mechanism is in fluid communication with the plurality of aerators for providing the air thereto. At least an aerator air flow control mechanism may be disposed in each of the plurality of aerators for controlling flow of the air between a bottom section and a top section thereof. An elongated perforated venting tube is disposed approximately centrally within the storage bin. The venting tube extends generally upwardly to the bin roof for transmitting the air from the particulate materials to the bin roof and venting the same therefrom to a location external the storage bin.

The composite data is transmitted via an electromagnetic signal or wireless communication to at least one of a receiver and a data processing system for processing or storing the composite data. The composite data is transferred to or made available to a data management system, which may be accessible to one or more users who seek access to at least one of the initial data, the additional data, and the composite data on the agricultural product or a derivative thereof.

    摘要: A fruit storage bin apparatus for temporary storage of fruit has a frame wall, a floor and a ceiling forming an enclosure. An inlet is provided in the upper part of the enclosure and an outlet is provided through the walls in the lower part of the enclosure, while the floor is at a raised position relative to ground level. A center column member is mounted between the floor and the ceiling and has a plurality of support arms attached thereto in predetermined positions to support a fiberglass reinforced polymer chute. The chute is made up of sections connected together and to the support arms for lowering the fruit to the floor level, where it is temporarily stored. The method of making a fruit storage bin for the temporary storage of fruit provides for building a framework, attaching a floor and ceiling to the framework, and then attaching a center column between the floor and ceiling. The support arms are of a predetermined shape and attached in predetermined positions along the center column. Chute sections are attached to the support arms as the support arms are being put on to assure proper positioning of the support arms around the center column.

    摘要: A tablet dispenser for fumigating agricultural commodities, such as grain, animal feed, and the like, comprises a container shaped to receive a plurality of pesticide tablets therein, and including a base with a dispenser aperture therethrough. A rotor is rotatively mounted in the container base, and includes an upper portion, a medial portion, and a lower portion. The medial portion of the rotor is spaced apart from the container sidewall, and forms an annularly shaped channel therebetween which is proportioned to receive therein a single file ring of the pesticide tablets, each oriented on a circumferential edge thereof. The lower portion of the rotor extends outwardly of the medial portion to form a base surface of the channel on which the tablets are supported, and includes a dispensing aperture therethrough positioned for selective alignment with the container base aperture. The upper portion of the rotor is shaped to urge the tablets toward and into the channel, whereby relative rotation between the container and the rotor regularly dispenses the pesticide tablets from the dispenser.
