Abstract: A chum sink for use with an anchor line extending from a boat to an anchor includes a weight, a chumming device and a depth line. The weight is selectively attachable to the anchor line. The chumming device is attached to the weight and is configured to hold chum therein and to disperse chum when the chumming device is in water. The depth line is attached to the weight. The depth line is configured to lower the weight along the anchor line so that the chumming device is lowered to a desired depth, so that the chumming device is held by the weight up-current from the boat at the desired depth and so that the chumming device disperses chum at the desired depth in the water and so that dispersed chum is carried down-current in the direction of the boat.

Abstract: A device for timed release of a bait. Abstract: The water aeration capsules provide a quick and highly portable system for aerating polluted water. The capsules contain bubbles of air, oxygen, and/or other gas(es) surrounded by a water soluble membrane. The capsules are ballasted to sink. Magnetically attractive ballast elements may be provided, and a magnetic sheet may be placed on the bottom of a smaller body of water to enhance the settling of the capsules. The gas burial disposal capsules may be formed of non-degradable material for substantially permanent gas storage, or of degradable material to allow the gases to slowly permeate the surrounding earth for slow and relatively harmless release. The gas may be pressurized within the capsules to approximately the pressure of the surrounding earth.

Abstract: The water aeration capsules provide a quick and highly portable system for aerating polluted water. The capsules contain bubbles of air, oxygen, and/or other gas(es) surrounded by a water soluble shell or membrane of a suitable substance, e.g., various salts, sugars, water-soluble polymers, such as polyvinyl alcohol. The capsules are ballasted to make their specific gravity greater than the water they displace. The ballast may comprise any non-toxic metal, sand, clay, or other non-organic material, and/or fish bait or other food for aquatic animals.
