Abstract:
A single-track stacking panel covering for an architectural opening has a headrail for mounting the covering above and in front of the opening, such as a window or door. The headrail has a single track. Suspended from the headrail and translatable therealong are panels oriented at a small angle relative to the headrail. When the covering is open, the panels form an overlappingly stacked array at one end of the headrail.
Abstract:
There is disclosed an improved rooflight 100. A first aspect of the rooflight provides a perimeter lip 1401 which protects an edge of a pane 210 of glass from being accidentally chipped or cracked. A second aspect of the present invention provides a channel for a blind 1100, which channel is formed by two cooperating channel sections 1601, 1602. A third aspect of the present invention provides a flashing system 1700. Another aspect of the rooflight 100 provides a water deflector 450 for preventing rain water from impinging directly onto a weather seal between a casement 120 and baseplate 110. Another aspect provides removable linings 610, 620, 1210, 1220 which can be mounted an interior face of the casement 120 and/or baseplate 110. Another aspect provides a slot 1000, for securing flashing 800, 810, which extends around the perimeter of the baseplate 110. Another aspect provides a blind 110 which is recessed within cavities and a blind runner 1300, thus reducing unwanted transmission of light when the blind 1101 is pulled.
Abstract:
An insulated glass window assembly including a cordless integral shade with level correction, a sliding follower, and an air permeable spacer assembly. Cords are eliminated by confining the window covering movement to one dimension. Level correction is achieved by pivotally connecting the shade bar to the supporting operator or shade support, so that the bar can be re-leveled by raising or lowering the bar against the IG spacer. The follower slides in a track on one side of the IG. The spacer includes an air passageway between the desiccant chamber and the space between IG space, and the hole is covered by an air-permeable patch to prevent unwanted leakage of desiccant into the viewable area.
Abstract:
A triple slide assembly for a three panel door system that mounts on a two track header and allows the panels to slide easily and sequentially with an interlocking function that provides a means to align the panels. The outer rails or panels each have an inward facing track to support rollers mounted to the middle rail or panel in an alternating configuration. The track and roller assembly interlocks the three panels and has stops, positioned in the ends of the inward facing tracks, keep the panels interlocked. The inward facing tracks and middle rail or panel remain aligned with the header when the outer panels are adjusted to align with adjacent door jambs to provide a smooth sliding operation. The triple slide assembly can be used for a six-door, center opening enclosure and for a five panel sliding assembly mounted on a three track header.
Abstract:
A magnetic connector apparatus provides a plurality of magnetic connector bodies in various different forms for magnetic connection of two or more bodies together along mutually-confronting, longitudinally-elongated, linear peripheral border edges, each linear peripheral border edge having at least one particularly-configured longitudinally elongated, cylindrical magnet supported adjacent thereto for rotation of the magnet adjacent said peripheral edge of each connector body for orientation of the magnetic polarity of magnets of confronting connector bodies for mutual magnetic attraction along, mutually confronting, linear peripheral border edges of magnetic connector bodies.
Abstract:
A curtain holder has a body formed from two pivotally connected segments and defining a curtain confining enclosure. Each of the segments has a connection end and a remote end. A mounting is provided for mounting the body to a vertical surface. A hinge pivotally connects the connection ends of the segments. The segments are pivotally movable between an open position in which the remote end of each of the segments are spaced apart to permit insertion of a curtain into the curtain confining enclosure and a closed position in which the remote end of the segments are closely spaced.
Abstract:
A retractable cover for architectural openings having collapsible vanes includes a support structure in the form of a sheet of material, monofilaments, tapes, ribbons, cords, or the like, supporting an upper edge of a plurality of vertically spaced, horizontally extending vanes with the lower edges of the vanes in most embodiments of the invention being connected to operating elements adapted to raise the lower edges of each vane toward the upper edges to define openings or gaps between the vanes through which vision and light can pass in an open condition of the covering. Variations of the covering do not require movement of a lower edge of a vane relative to an upper edge but simply movement of some vanes relative to other vanes. The vanes can be made of materials having different flexibilities and where more rigid materials are used, creased fold lines can be established for desired operability.
Abstract:
A hanger assembly comprises a hanging bar and two pieces of hanger base, wherein a plurality of bar magnets is disposed in the hanger base in parallel by way of pointing the magnetic poles of same polarity to a common direction and the bar magnets are separated with iron plates; the hanger base is protected with a slot-opened cover having the iron plates protruded slightly over the slots; and magnetic force can be guided and extended to the iron plates to ensure stable attachment of the hanger assembly to the surface of a ferromagnetic article.
Abstract:
A free size curtain frame for a two-piece curtain comprises: a pair of mounting brackets fixed to two side members of a windows frame respectively at a top; at least one telescopic tubular stretchable beam for fitting to the width of various windows, mounted on the mounting brackets for hanging a two-pieced main curtain thereon, a positioning clamp adjustably clamped on the beam near a middle having a magnet piece disposed at a lower side thereof, a couple of overlap guiding bars respectively hung on at least two hanging rings nearest to the positioning clamp from adjacent sides respectively having an iron piece disposed at an inner end of a flat portion toward the magnet piece of the positioning clamp, therefore to insure there will be a perfect overlap in the middle of the two-pieced curtain, a spare telescopic beam may also mounted on the mounting brackets for hanging a screen curtain if needed, an additional stretchable beam formed of a rectangular telescopic tube may mounted to a pair of attachable brackets for hanging a decorative cloth if needed, while the attachable brackets are attached to the mounting brackets by a tenon-mortise structure respectively.
