The brackets have edges adapted to receive a fascia designed to hide the window dressing. Preferably, the fascia has a front wall designed to snap onto the brackets and is sized so that it extends above the brackets to provide a neater and cleaner look. The fascia may be L-shaped with a vertical and a horizontal member and the brackets may be configured so that the horizontal member attaches either to the top or to the bottom of the brackets.

摘要： A traverse rod system for manipulating one or more hanging objects is provided. The traverse rod system includes a hollow longitudinally extending tube having an opening that extends along an upper length of the tube as well as a number of rings that at least partially encircle the tube and that are directly or indirectly coupled with one or more hanging objects. A cord is suspended within the tube and secured by one or more cord carriers, each having a top portion that attaches to one of the rings and a bottom portion that is freely suspended through the opening and into the hollow tube such that other than the cord and the cord carriers, an interior of the hollow tube remains substantially free of structure relating to the traverse rod system. Movement of the cord causes the cord carriers to traverse an interior of the tube while the attached rings traverse an exterior of the tube. As a result, the hanging object(s) move in connection with the cord and the cord carriers in a desired direction or directions.

摘要： A device for holding an object to a magnetizable surface, has a magnetic base including a magnet recessed in a housing and a hook removably connectable to the housing. The magnet has an external face devised to face the magnetizable surface, an internal face opposite the external face and a sidewall. The housing is sized to accommodate the magnet in a loose manner so that an air gap is formed between the housing and the magnet. The housing includes a side wall that extends beyond the side wall of the magnet such that, in use, an air gap is formed between the magnet and the magnetizable surface. The hook includes an anchoring section slidably engageable in a hook holder provided on the outer face of the magnetic base and a supporting section adapted to support the object.

摘要： A curtain, drape, shade, or the like movable to a position in which it has a ballooning effect is mounted in a simple and effective manner. A first conventional curtain rod supports a fabric sheet comprising the shade, or the like, at a top portion of the sheet. A second conventional curtain rod is spaced from the first rod and is adjacent the top of the sheet. A number of rings, disposed in columns, are formed on the back of the fabric sheet, and a cord passes through all the rings in a column. Each cord is connected at a first end to a bottom portion of the fabric sheet, and the second end of each cord passes through one or more eyelets mounted in a fixed position with respect to the second curtain rod. Each eyelet may be moved to any desired position along the curtain rod by loosening a screw fastener, and when the screw fastener is tightened it is fixed at the particular position to which it has been moved along the curtain rod.
