摘要: A network access device (NAD) receives a UDP packet from a client to be transmitted to a management server over Internet, the UDP packet including a management message. The NAD is one of NADs managed by the management server. The NAD determines whether the management server is reachable using a UDP protocol. The NAD transmits the UDP packet to the management server using the UDP protocol over the Internet if it is determined that the management server is reachable using the UDP protocol. Otherwise, the NAD extracts a UDP payload from the UDP packet, encapsulates the UDP payload within an HTTP POST request, and transmits the HTTP POST request having the UDP payload encapsulated therein to the management server using a HTTP protocol over the Internet.

摘要: A method to produce and use a coating which when applied to a media and used in the graphics industry with a contact or non-contact method of printing, will allow for efficient use of water, oil, or solvent based colors which at present requires 3 types of coating. The coating can be applied with any commercial or non-commercial method (such as but not limited to roller, spray, gravure, blade or by incorporating the coating into or onto the media during the manufacturing process of the media). The coating when applied increases the absorption of the color which will reduce the drying time and produces a smother print surface of the media. The coating will also result in a faster release of the color from the media in the case of transfer use.

摘要: A cyclone separator having multiple-vaned gas inlets adapted to guide the gas flow into the interior of the cyclone separator. The total sum of the inlet areas is at least equal to the smallest internal flow area and the cyclone is useful for separating suspended solid particles from internal combustion engine exhaust gases.

摘要: A system and computer-implemented method for characterizing a subsurface reservoir is presented. The method includes receiving seismic data and at least one migration velocity model representative of the subsurface reservoir and well logs representative of a geologic region similar to the subsurface reservoir; analyzing the well logs to determine regional trends that differentiate at least two of porous sands, cemented sands, and shales; inverting the seismic data to obtain a p-impedance model and an s-impedance model; predicting a gross sand volume from a ratio of the p-impedance to the s-impedance; and determining a porous sand volume from the gross sand volume through a depth dependent cutoff for cemented sand p-impedance values.

摘要: An ignitor spark indicator 100 is described that monitors RF signals within a flame rod 25 located near a spark rod 23. The signal from the flame rod 25 is processed to provide a waveform that indicates when electrical arcing is occurring. The indication when arcing is occurring is also provided to flame-detecting equipment. The flame-proving device 60 only operates when the arcing is not produced so that the flame-detecting device 60 does not confuse the arcing with a flame reducing the false positive determinations.

摘要: A method for forming microparticles includes fragmenting solid particles that include a biologically active agent, a biocompatible polymer and a solvent, thereby producing fragmented solid particles, and separating the solvent from the fragmented solid particles, thereby forming the microparticles. The method can also include the steps of forming a mixture of the biologically active agent, the biocompatible polymer and the solvent, and freezing the mixture to form the solid particles. The present invention also relates to methods for producing injectable pharmaceutical compositions that include an injectable microparticle population.
