摘要： A motor vehicle box and a pickup truck having a motor vehicle box provided in the pickup truck bed are provided. The motor vehicle box includes a plurality of sidewalls and a bottom wall constructed to form a container having an opening wherein the container has an exterior side and an interior side; a lid constructed to cover the opening, wherein the lid is hingedly attached to at least one of the plurality of walls; and a latch mechanism comprising a latch member constructed and arranged to move between a first position and second position. The first position is provided for holding the lid in place covering the opening. The second position is provided for releasing the lid. The latch mechanism includes an exterior latch release mechanism and an interior latch release mechanism. The exterior latch release mechanism extends to the exterior side of the container and is constructed to move the latch member to the second position when triggered. The interior latch release mechanism is provided within the interior side of the container and is constructed to move the latch member to the second position when triggered. The interior latch release mechanism allows someone, such as a small child, who becomes trapped in the box to release himself or herself from the box by using the interior latch release mechanism.

摘要： A trailer for carrying cargo includes a frame, at least two axles mounted to the frame, and a deck. The axles have wheels at opposite ends of the axles for movably supporting the frame above the ground. The deck is pivotally mounted to the frame and is pivotable about a first axis relative to the frame and a second axis relative to the frame via at least two supports. The first axis extends generally longitudinally along the deck and the second axis extends generally laterally across the deck and generally normal to the first axis. The deck is also slidable generally along the first axis relative to the frame and/or one of the supports. The deck thus may be adjusted about multiple axes and may be moved forwardly or rearwardly relative to the frame to position the deck in a desired location and orientation relative to the frame.

摘要： A vertically stowable modular multi-purpose trailer is provided. The trailer includes a forward support section including a first tubular frame having a main body portion with a first upper platform and rear interface side, and forward trailer neck; a pair of caster wheels attached proximate said rear interface; and a first planar deck substantially covering the first upper platform. The trailer is further adapted to be configured in a vertically stowed configuration, wherein the forward support section and rear support section are adapted to be folded about the pair of hinge assemblies such that the forward support section and rear support section are latitudinally positioned next to each other in a generally vertical orientation.

Accordingly, when the hitch mounted cycle rack is mounted on the rear of an automobile, the hinge permits the cycle support assembly to be swung away from the rear of the automobile, exposing it and permitting access to it.

摘要： A method for transporting a recreational vehicle, such as a motorcycle or snowmobile in the cargo box of a pickup truck in a fashion that enables the tail gate of the pickup truck to remain closed. A first step involves providing a pickup truck having a cargo box with an open end closed by a tail gate. A second step involves placing the recreational vehicle in the cargo box of the pickup truck with a rear portion of the recreational vehicle protruding past the open end. A third step involves positioning a support into the cargo box adjacent to the open end. A fourth step involves lifting the rear portion of the recreational vehicle onto the support until the rear portion is elevated sufficiently to provide clearance to enable the open end to be closed by the tail gate.

摘要： A modular motorcycle stowing device for transporting a motorcycle in the bed of a pickup truck includes a collapsible base which is designed to fit on the floor of a pickup truck bed and a collapsible upper ramp which is hingedly connected to the base and provides a guiding channel for receiving the front and rear tires of the motorcycle to be stowed in the device. In order to span the elevation between the ground and the pickup truck bed, a detachable loading ramp is provided and arranged for a sliding interfit into the upper ramp. Connected to the loading ramp is a footboard for supporting an assisting individual. Connected to the upper ramp is a winch which is used to assist in pulling the motorcycle up into the stowing device and for more controlled unloading of the motorcycle.

摘要： A motorcycle loading and unloading apparatus includes a motorcycle support with a first guide extending along the support. A pivot member is pivotally secured to a mounting member for pivotal movement about a substantially horizontal axis between a downwardly angled position and an upright position. A second guide is secured to the second end of the pivot member and engages the first guide on the support. Movement of the support from a loading position resting upon a groundsurface to a transport position resting upon a bed of the truck is accommodated by an initial pivoting of the pivot member from the downwardly angled position to the upright position. This is followed by a sliding of the support along the pivot member until the support is in the transport position.
