摘要： A container configured to be selectively moved between a substantially flat configuration and a deployed configuration is provided. The container includes a plurality of side walls formed from a first blank. The first blank includes a plurality of side panels extending in series along a plurality of substantially parallel fold lines and at least one slot defined within at least one side panel of the plurality of side panels. The container further includes a bottom wall coupled to the plurality of side walls, wherein the bottom wall is formed from a second blank. The second blank includes a plurality of side edges and at least one tab extending form at least one side edge. The at least one tab is configured to be inserted into the at least one slot to construct the container. The second blank is coupled to the first blank at at least the at least one slot and the at least one tab for forming the bottom wall of the container.

摘要： A display container is provided herein which includes a box portion having a base portion, spaced-apart upstanding first and second end panels, and spaced-apart upstanding first and second edge panels extending from the base portion. The first and second edge panels are located between the first and second end panels, and the first edge panel extends a lesser distance from the base portion than the first end panel and the second end panel. The display container also includes a reinforcing layer which may be formed of a material stronger in shear than the material of the box portion. Advantageously, with the subject invention, a display container may be formed which has greater strength both for product containment and stacking as compared to the prior art.

Retail boxes in accordance with the present disclosure can be manufactured beginning with a moisture impermeable paper or substrate, which is rolled on a core. Two halves of the box, or “half-boxes,” are first produced, and then brought together to form a complete box. The corners of the complete box can be sealed with a caulk or other sealing material to form a moisture impermeable container.

摘要： A package includes a pair of opposed package end surfaces and a first package wall spaced from a second package wall and connected thereto by an end wall forming a first compartment for holding one or more product pieces. The first compartment has an opening. A cover extends from the first compartment and is movable between an open and closed position to selectively cover and uncover the first compartment opening. A closure is disposed at one of the opposed end surfaces and retains the cover in the closed position. The closure includes a first closure member on the cover and a second closure member on the container. The first closure member is selectively, operatively couplable to the second closure member.

摘要： A gum packaging design that utilizes two separate compartments, an upper compartment and a lower compartment. Each of the compartments may be formed from a separate paperboard blank. The blanks are folded to form the compartments and then the lower compartment is adhered to the upper compartment in a fashion that allows the lower compartment to be later separated therefrom by tearing along a perforation after the lower compartment is emptied. A cover flap on the upper compartment can be used to hold the package in a compact, closed position by folding the compartments to face each other and tucking an end into a receiving slot formed in the back panel of the lower compartment. Once the lower compartment is separated from the upper compartment, the same cover flap can be used to close the remaining package by tucking the same end of the cover flap into a receiving slot formed in a front panel of the upper compartment.

摘要： A package according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises a main body portion defined by a bottom wall and one or more upstanding sidewalls. The sidewalls cooperate to define an open top of the main body portion of the package. A lid is provided and is defined by a top wall and one or more downwardly-depending sidewalls. The lid is sized to fit over the open top of the main body portion of the package. At least one sidewall of the lid is secured to at least one sidewall of the main body portion. At least one sidewall of the lid includes a take-up strip positioned between the top wall and a distal edge of the at least one lid sidewall. The take-up strip permits movement of the lid relative to the main body portion without separating the at least one lid sidewall from the main body portion sidewall to which it is secured.
