摘要： An automatic extinguisher for the flame of a candle includes a fan sized and configured to be supported by a candle, and a controller connected to the electrical fan and operable to activate and de-activate the fan. The controller includes a timer for activating the fan after a pre-determined first time interval to direct air from the fan to the flame of the candle, and operable to de-activate the fan after a pre-determined second time interval shorter than the first time interval.

摘要： A device has a canister for attaching to a fuel container with a wick holder passing through the canister for holding a wick in a position to draw fuel from the reservoir for combustion proximate the top cap. A snuffer in the canister has a sleeve extendible from a first retracted position to a second extended position, the second extended position extending the sleeve partially beyond the wick holder. When the canister is upright the snuffer remains in the first lowered position and when the canister is tilted beyond a predetermined angle the spring moves the sleeve to the second extended position.

A Smart Candle Platform having multiple interactive systems and sensors for production of natural light via a safe, controllable device which may communicate with other similar configured devices or smart devices having application software embedded therein i.e. a smart phone having an app. is disclosed. The Smart Candle Platform may be configured to allow for auto-extinguishment. The Smart Candle Platform may be configured to allow for the addition of smells or scents.

摘要： A self-extinguishing candle flame apparatus is provided, the apparatus comprises: a base; a post having opposing ends, at least a portion of the first end of the post is attached to the base; a pliable wax coil having opposing ends, at least a portion of the wax coil being situated upon the base, the wax coil forming a candle, the candle comprising an elongated wick being situated within the wax coil, at least a portion of the wick protruding from one end of the wax coil; and a self extinguishing device comprising at least two sections that form a clamp, at least a portion of each of the two sections being attached to a spring, each of the sections having opposing ends, the first end of each of the two sections comprises a head and the second end of each of the two sections comprises an arm, the first and second sections being connected at a joint, during a closed position, each of the heads contact one another and forms an extended rim with side walls and an aperture therebetween designed to receive a portion of the wax coil, the extended rim with the side walls forming a height that when the candle burns down within the aperture, the flame is extinguished by operation of oxygen deprivation.

摘要： A self-extinguishing candle is described, comprising a candle body made of wax or other suitable fuel. One or more series of wick appliances having an internal hollow channel are longitudinally disposed within the candle body. A single length of wick traverses through the collinear channels of each series of wick appliances. Within each wick appliance the section of wick therein is formed into a wick contraction. The wick contraction may be formed by bending, folding, spiraling, coiling, gathering or furling the section of wick, thereby increasing the overall length of wick contained within the interior of each wick appliance.
