摘要： A microwave heater capable of heating a bundle of wood and equipped with an optimized system for introducing microwave energy into the heater. The system uses a high-efficiency elongated waveguide launcher having a plurality of launch openings defined in relatively thin walls. The waveguide launcher can exhibit a launch efficiency of at least 50 percent, thereby providing substantially energy savings over conventional waveguide launchers.

摘要： An optimized microwave barrier assembly for use in conjunction with a microwave wood heater. The barrier is configured to allow microwaves to pass therethrough in a TMab mode, where a is 0 and b is an integer between 1 and 5. The barrier assembly is also configured to maintain a pressure differential across a window of the barrier assembly. Such a configuration can reduce or eliminate arcing in the barrier assembly, even at low pressures.

摘要： A cooking device for performing cooking using a microwave and steam, in which a door of a heating chamber includes, as constituting components, an inner frame, a choke cover, and a gasket. The inner frame is made of metal and has at its periphery a choke structure constructed from a large number of comb teeth. The gasket is installed in the door with a base section of the gasket held between the inner frame and the choke cover. A lip section of the gasket has a bag-like cross-section whose side that faces the inside of the heating chamber is an entrance. The forward end of the lip section is bent to the door side. The comb teeth, except those positioned at the corners of the door, are bent at a larger angle than in a case in which the gasket is not installed.

摘要： A door structure of a microwave oven usable as a pizza oven, wherein a pan is coupled to an inner surface of the door such that the pan is integral with the door, and a handle is mounted to an outer surface of the door. The handle has various structures so that the handle is separable from the door or is hingably mounted to the door to move between a folded state and an unfolded state. The door structure may be configured to simultaneously open the door and eject the pan. The user can stably open and close the pizza oven door, using only a handle, under the condition in which the pizza oven door and pizza tray are not supported. The handle has a structure capable of effectively supporting the weight of the oven door while having a foldable structure so that the handle can be conveniently used.
