摘要： A steam generating container A heated by a heat source includes: a water evaporation chamber into which water is supplied by a water supply device; a leading opening to lead steam from the water evaporation chamber, and ejection openings ejecting steam led through the leading opening into a heating chamber containing food. A buffer chamber connecting through the leading opening and with the ejection openings is provided between the water evaporation chamber and the heating chamber. Even when bumping water enters the buffer chamber through the leading opening, the bumping water having entered flows inside the buffer chamber. Thus, the bumping water is hardly ejected into the heating chamber through the ejection openings.

摘要： A cover portion (96) for covering an opening of a tank body serving as a water tank is provided with a water receiving section (97) formed of a recess for temporary reception of supplied water, and the water receiving section (97) is provided with mesh-like filters (93a, 93b). Thus, scale or other impurities contained in discharge water derived from a pot of a steam generator and discharged from a drain valve are filtrated by the filters (93a, 93b), by which the discharge water from the pot is recycled as water for steam generation without using any special purification system. Therefore, the number of times of water supply to the water tank can be reduced without using any special purification system.

摘要： A cooker has an external circulation path outside a heating chamber in which foods are to be placed. A blower sucks in gas inside the heating chamber, and forms, in the external circulation path, a gas flow that makes the sucked gas return to the heating chamber. Downstream of the blower, the external circulation path is provided with an exhaust port, in which a damper is provided. The damper closes the exhaust port during cooking, and opens the exhaust port when a door of the heating chamber is opened. After the damper is changed to a position of opening the exhaust port, the blower continues to operate until a predetermined condition is satisfied.
