    摘要: Buckle type attachment elements, such as for belts, watch bands, or the like, and/or for securing or fastening elements (e.g., for footwear, handbags, briefcases, containers, or other objects) may be produced in a manner that generates minimal waste materials, without the use of metal or mechanical hardware type connectors, from completely recyclable materials, without the need for molding, without the use of plastics, and/or without the use of adhesives or cements. Such buckle elements may include a buckle portion and a tongue portion formed from the same material. In some structures, the tongue portion may be made from a part cut out to form the buckle portion. In other structures, the tongue portion may be formed by cutting slits into a base substrate that also makes up the buckle portion. Final products and methods of making such products also are described.

    摘要: A seat belt buckle having a buckle frame and a pivotal latching member mounted therein includes a single spring for biasing a push button toward an outer position and for ejecting a tongue plate from the frame when the latch mechanism is in its open position. The preferred spring is a coil spring which is loaded in tension in an extended configuration. In the preferred embodiment, the spring additionally provides biasing force to lock the latch mechanism in its latching position after insertion of the tongue plate into the buckle frame and provide biasing force to maintain the latching member in its open position prior to insertion of the tongue plate.

Both of the flaps 12a, 12b are slotted so that, when they are folded about the hinge 14 to their closed position, a pair of parallel bars 22, 24 is presented for use in adjustably securing a strap 20.     摘要: Systems and methods are disclosed for automatic adjustment of straps of a head mounted display. The head mounted display may include a display device, a plurality of straps, and a controller. The controller may monitor eye location data of at least one eye of a user using at least one eye tracking sensor. The controller may direct the user to move the display device to achieve a desired image being displayed on the display device based on the monitored eye location data and accepted eye location data. The controller may monitor strap pressure data associated with the plurality of straps using a plurality of the pressure sensors. The controller may adjust each strap of the plurality of straps using an adjustment actuator to achieve a desired fit of the head mounted display on the user based on the monitored strap pressure data and accepted strap pressure data.
