    摘要: The invention is intended for sizing separation of difficult-to-screen powder materials and slurries. A sieve assembly includes a rigid frame, attached inside the separator housing, and upper and bottom sieves, stretched on the frame. The interface apparatuses are connected to the upper sieve, while actuator means—to the bottom sieve. The forced frequency of the vibrator is close to one of the natural frequencies of the bottom sieve. When the vibrator is operated, the actuator means interact with interface apparatuses, thus generating repeated collisions therebetween and mechanical impulses, which provide multifrequency excitation of the interface apparatuses and upper sieve. This ensures continuous self-cleaning of the upper sieve, intense loosening of the material bed and disintegration of the particle agglomerates. Separation capacity and products' quality substantially rises. In other embodiments presented sieve assembly includes buffer elements and inertial apparatuses, connected to the upper sieve.

    摘要: A sieving device includes a sieve having a base, a drum and a main rim. A screen assembly having a mesh screen and a screen frame extending around a periphery of the mesh screen is resiliently mounted within the main rim. A low frequency vibrational drive vibrates the sieve at low frequencies. An ultrasonic vibrational probe rests on the screen frame free of rigid attachment thereto and vibrates the mesh screen around a periphery thereof. The ultrasonic vibrational drive includes an ultrasonic processor which drives the ultrasonic probe. A probe tip of the probe extends through a side wall of the main rim and rests on a top surface of the screen frame vibrating the screen from the periphery of the screen inwardly to sieve a particulate material. An alternative embodiment has a tab which extends outwardly from the screen frame. The probe tip extends through the sidewall of the main rim and through a sidewall of the drum to abut the tab.

    摘要: An apparatus and method for sizing and separating particles of a material. The apparatus includes a stand, a frame having a pair of ends and an intermediate portion, and suspension assemblies attached to the stand and the frame for movably suspending the frame on the stand. A pair of inclined screens are removably mounted in a pair of screen boxes removably mounted on the frame, with each of the screens sloping downwardly from the intermediate portion of the frame toward a respective one of the ends of the frame. At least one motor is mounted on the frame for vibrating the frame and attached screens, and a feed box is mounted on the stand adjacent to and above upper ends of the screens for supplying a material to be sized. The method of the invention includes the steps of actuating the motor and depositing a material onto the upper ends of the screens via the feed box, so that the vibrating screens can simultaneously size and separate particles of the material. Spacers can be inserted between the stand and certain ones of the suspension assemblies to effect small changes in the slope of the screens, if needed, for generally equalizing the rate of movement of a material on each of the screens. The screen boxes can be replaced to effect gross changes in the slope of the screens, so that the apparatus can be used in different particle sizing applications.
