    摘要: A coupler uncoupling control mechanism is provided in the present application, comprising an uncoupling cylinder, a propelling cylinder and a control assembly, wherein the propelling cylinder is connected to a first valve body, and the first valve body comprises a first air inlet connected to the main reservoir pipe of the train, a first air outlet communicated with the first air inlet, a second air inlet and a second air outlet communicated with the second air inlet; the first air outlet is communicated with the air inlet chamber of the propelling cylinder, and the second air inlet is communicated with the air outlet chamber of the propelling cylinder. The control assembly comprises a second valve body and the second valve body is a pneumatic control valve; the second valve body comprises a third air inlet communicated with the uncoupling pipe of the train, a third air outlet communicated with the third air inlet, and a first control port capable of controlling airflow communication between the third air inlet and the third air outlet after being triggered; and, the third air inlet is communicated with the air inlet of the uncoupling cylinder, and the first control port is connected to the first air outlet of the first valve body. The present application can ensure that electrical couplers are uncoupled successfully.

    摘要: A railcar coupler may include a coupler head comprising a shank and a head portion, the head portion defining a cavity for receiving a knuckle, a thrower, and a lock. The cavity can include a top pulling lug, a bottom pulling lug, and a thrower retaining lug. The top pulling lug can be configured to engage an upper knuckle pulling lug, and the bottom pulling lug being can be configured to engage a lower knuckle pulling lug. During operation of the railcar coupler, the ratio of the stress between the top pulling lug and the bottom pulling lug can be configured to be better balanced to help extend the life of the railcar coupler assembly.

    摘要: An improved lever assembly for uncoupling railroad cars having a coupler that includes a lock lifter. The lever assembly has a handle on one end that is pivotally connected to the railcar and a hook located at the other end of the lever assembly that is connected to the lock lifter. The assembly has levers that slide relative to each other. The levers are held adjacent to each other by enclosures through which the levers slide. The enclosures contain U-shaped glides held stationary relative to the enclosures. Typically made of plastic, the glides provide low friction sliding contact with levers sliding through them. The glides are longitudinally shorter than their containing enclosures providing protection from ultraviolet light.

    摘要: An uncoupling lever assembly for a railroad car has first and second lever members. A plurality of sleeves are attached to one of the lever members. The other lever member extends through the sleeves in telescoping relation to the one member. Each sleeve is lined by a pair of oppositely-disposed, generally L-shaped glide members. Each glide member has a base with flexible hooks engaging a portion of the sleeve. An integral leg extends from the base and lies next to an adjacent portion of the sleeve.

    摘要: Two side-by-side housings each receive a telescoping member therein. Bearings captivated within each housing engage the telescoping members such that the bearings are free to slide both with respect to the housings and the telescoping members. A handle for operating the lever and an arm for engaging the car coupler are mounted to opposing distal ends of the telescoping members. The other ends of the telescoping members are free to extend beyond the housings and have stops which abut the bearings while these ends are disposed within the housings.
