摘要:
A method of photographic color image formation is disclosed. The method gives a color photographic image having high preservability under a condition with a lowered replenishing amount of developer. The method comprises the following steps;(1) imagewise exposing to light a silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material which comprises a support having thereon a silver halide emulsion layer,(2) developing the exposed light-sensitive material with a color developer,(3) bleach-fixing the developed light-sensitive material with a bleach-fixer, and(4) washing the bleach-fixed light-sensitive material, In the above method, the silver halide emulsion layer contains a specified yellow coupler having a molecular weight of not more than 800 and a specified antifungal agent. The developing step is carried out for a time not more than 25 seconds and developer is replenished with a developer replenisher in a ratio of from 20 ml to 150 ml per square meter of light-sensitive material developed the developer. The total time of the developing step, bleach-fixing step and washing step is not more than 2 minutes.

In the replenishment of a washing fluid with a replenishment fluid a chemical property of the replenishment fluid is compared to the chemical property of the washing fluid. Replenishment fluid is added to the washing fluid according to the difference in the properties of the washing fluid and replenishment fluid.

A method for processing an imagewise exposed color photographic material comprising a support having thereon at least one light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer comprising a silver halide emulsion containing at least 90 mol % silver chloride, comprising the steps of: (a) developing in a color developing bath; (b) bleaching in a bath having a bleaching ability and fixing in a bath having a fixing ability or bleach-fixing in a bath having a bleaching and fixing ability; and (c) independently supplying a low pH replenisher and a high pH replenisher to the developing bath each in an amount depending on the quantity of photographic material processed, the low pH replenisher having a pH of from 2 to 6 and mainly containing a color developing agent and the high pH replenisher containing one or more components of the developing bath, wherein the components of the each replenisher are sufficiently diluted upon addition to the developing bath to avoid formation of a precipitate by mixing with the components of the unlike replenisher. The developing function can be recovered by addition of small amounts of the replenishing solutions to the developing bath. Consequently, the amount of waste liquid is reduced, which in turn benefits the environment.

摘要:
A method for continuously processing an image-wise exposed silver halide color photographic material comprising the steps of color developing, bleach-fixing and at least one of washing with water and stabilizing. A replenisher is supplied to the bleach-fix bath to result in an overflow of from 30 to 500 ml/m.sup.2 of the photographic material processed. The bleach-fixing step further comprises collecting the bleach-fix overflow, regenerating the collected bleach-fix bath overflow by adding thereto a regenerant to produce a regenerated bleach-fix bath, and reusing the regenerated bleach-fix bath as a replenisher to the bleach-fix bath. The regeneration rate defined as the amount of bleach-fix overflow used for regeneration divided by the total amount of overflow multiplied by 100% is more than 80%. The photographic layers of the silver halide color photographic material have a degree of swelling of from about 2.5 to 4.0. The silver halide color photographic material further has a silver coverage of less than about 0.8 g/m.sup.2. The above described method solves problems of poor desilvering, inadequate color reproduction and undesirable cyan thermal discoloration which generally accompany reuse of the bleach-fixing bath.

摘要:
The present invention relates to a method in which water for preventing the concentration of processing solution in a processing tank from being increased due to evaporation and a replenisher for avoiding a lowering of the effectiveness of the processing solution are added to the processing tank of a photographic processing apparatus. Before the processing tank is replenished with a replenisher, the processing tank is replenished with water by an amount corresponding to the amount of water evaporated therefrom until the liquid surface level reaches the original liquid surface level i.e. replacing evaporated water, and then, the processing tank is replenished with replenisher. Thereafter, the processing solution is discharged by an amount equal to the amount of replenisher added in order to return the liquid surface level to the original liquid surface level. Thus, the performance of the processing solution can be restored while the concentration of the processing solution is kept constant.

In processing photographic picture-taking film having picture information born on itself or on a container for the film, the picture information on the film itself or the container is read for determining a processing condition, for example, an amount of processing solution to be replenished on the basis of the read picture information. Then the film is processed under the determined or optimum condition.
