    摘要： A frame for an aerosol-generating device is provided, the frame including: a base frame formed from an electrically conductive material; an electrical connector having a plurality of electrical contacts arranged on a connector frame formed from an electrically insulating material, the electrical connector being secured to the base frame such that the base frame is electrically connected to at least one of the electrical contacts of the electrical connector; and a support frame formed from an electrically insulating material, in which the base frame and electrical connector are at least partially embedded in the support frame. A method of manufacturing a frame for an aerosol-generating device, and an aerosol-generating device including a frame, are also provided.

    摘要： An aerosol generator includes a first vaporizer, a circuit board, and a connecting assembly. The connecting assembly includes a conductive connector electrically connecting a first electrode to a second electrode. The first electrode is separably connected to the second electrode by means of the connector. The first electrode and the second electrode are located on a same side of the connector. Since the first vaporizer and the circuit board are located on a same side with respect to the connecting assembly, the first electrode is indirectly electrically connected to the second electrode by means of the connector, and at least one of the first electrode and the second electrode is separable from the connector. When the first vaporizer needs to be removed, the first electrode is electrically disconnected from the second electrode, or when the first vaporizer is loaded, the first electrode may be electrically connected to the second electrode.

A smoking device receives the cylindrically-shaped capsule that contains the smoking material and flattens at least part of a portion of the capsule that contains the smoking material. The smoking device vaporizes one or more of the active agents from within the smoking material by heating the smoking material while at least part of the portion of the capsule that contains the smoking material is in a flattened configuration. Other applications are also described.
