摘要： A plurality of substantially parallel filamentary textile materials are assembled in a bundle to make a textile pile element. One end of the bundle has a base joining the materials at one end in a stable condition whereas the other end of the bundle contains strands which are free and open. The textile materials are retained in parallel arrangement by the base which is located in a mesh. The mesh is a support comprised of a planar structure having openings for receiving the bases of the elements. The mesh may be prefabricated or assembled during fabrication of the pile article. A pile textile article is made from the elements by a process of fabrication which includes the steps of inserting the textile elements in the opening in the mesh to result in an article which has application to furniture, clothing, toys, hats and decorative items.

摘要： A disposable toothbrush molded from a flexible plastic material and having a brush head carried at one end of a handle. The brush head has a paste-holding cavity and a plurality of hollow bristles molded in and extending from one side of the brush head such that the interiors of the hollow bristles communicate with the paste-holding cavity. A sealing film which functions to maintain the paste within the cavity is punctured upon manual compression of the brush head, such that paste may be squeezed through the hollow bristles to the top end thereof for use. In the second embodiment of the invention the bristle head is disclosed as being separable from the handle.

摘要： Brushes or parts thereof including the bristles are produced by injecting plastic material into the cavity of a mold comprising a plurality of segments each having at least one opening therein, the openings forming the cavity. The openings in the segments at opposite ends of the cavity are designed to retain a base section and a head portion respectively of the molded plastic material so that when these two segments are subsequently moved away form each other the connecting plastic material is stretched forming bristle shafts of improved strength with the molecules therein oriented. The head portion is then either severed from the shaft or means is provided for pressing the head portion through the hollow spaced of each of the intermediate segments to remove the brush or part thereof from the mold.
