摘要: Disclosed in a method, a user interface and a system for use in determining shade of a patient's tooth, wherein a digital 3D representation including shape data and texture data for the tooth is obtained. A tooth shade value for at least one point on the tooth is determined based on the texture data of the corresponding point of the digital 3D representation and on known texture values of one or more reference tooth shade values.

摘要: Methods and systems of the present disclosure are directed to providing dental treatment utilizing a mixed reality device. A patient's physical arch is scanned to produce a virtual arch that is then rendered in a computing environment for analysis and manipulation. Virtual targets, e.g., brackets, implants, etc., and/or a grid, are applied to the virtual arch to produce a virtual dental treatment template. The virtual dental treatment template is rendered in the mixed reality device and aligned the template with the physical arch of the patient in the mixed reality device. A practitioner is thus provided with this template and the patient within the same field of view, so that installation of dental apparatus can be simply a matter of aligning physical dental apparatus with the corresponding virtual dental apparatus. Positioning of the virtual target on the virtual arch and/or alignment of the virtual dental treatment template on the physical arch can be performed automatically via deep learning, Support Vector Machines, Decision Trees, etc. with the relevant data sets.

摘要: The invention relates to a dental prosthesis, produced from a one-piece or two-piece prosthesis blank which is constructed from a gum-colored material and a tooth-colored material (32), in particular in each case on a plastic base. It is characterized by the tooth-colored material (32) of the blank (10) which, in the blank state, has a size larger than a human dental arch. It is in particular at least 8 cm wide. The invention is further characterized in that the gum-colored and the tooth-colored material (10 and 32) are intensively connected to each other, whether by one-piece production, by adhesive bonding or by polymerization, in particular by polymerization. Viewed along the course of the dental arch, the interface between the materials has an undulating shape and, viewed in the vestibular direction, has a radial shape.

摘要: A method of making a translucent colored zirconia dental restoration comprises obtaining a zirconia green body, forming a dental restoration precursor from the zirconia green body, applying a color liquid to the precursor, and sintering the restoration precursor with regular sintering in air without post HIP processing. The zirconia green body comprises between 7 wt % to 20 wt % of stabilizer based on a total weight percent, and an L* value between 10 and 20 for a sample thickness of 1 to 1.3 mm. The zirconia green body is subsequently finally sinterable with regular sintering in air without post HIP processing to produce a translucent zirconia sintered body having a total light transmittance of at least 36% and less than 50% to light with a wavelength of 400 nm, and less than 55% to light with a wavelength of 600 nm, at a thickness of 0.6 mm.

摘要: A dental prosthesis, typically formed in a press to metal process, includes application of a porcelain composition sufficient to form a veneer on a dental prosthesis supporting metal structure, the composition having an integrated tooth-like translucency providing an aesthetic appearance. The composition is formed of a dentin frit and an enamel frit, typically sintered into a desired ingot shape including an amount of composition sufficient to veneer the prosthesis. The porcelain composition is a component of a kit that includes opaquers, other porcelains and stains useful in finishing to provide an aesthetic prosthesis.

摘要: A device for producing dental ceramic, with a CAD/CAM device for preparing a compression molding cavity for producing the dental ceramic, wherein a CAD device thereof, on the basis of scan data, determines the shape of the dental ceramic to be produced, and wherein a CAM device thereof produces a positive model, on the basis of which the mold cavity is produced via a sacrificial mold (muffle). The CAM device also determines the distribution and the transfer between different ceramic types, i.e. types of ceramics that differ at least in respect of one parameter in terms of material, appearance, strength or the like, wherein the CAM device for adjusting the distribution and the transfer determines the position and the dimensions of a feed channel between a muffle rod and the compression molding cavity for producing the dental ceramic according to at least one of these parameters.

摘要: Various embodiments of improved methods of creating removable or fixed over-implant dentures are disclosed that make patients look younger without plastic surgery. Different combinations of dentures may be used. The Denture facelift System (DFS) improves the “look” of virtually some facial defects or aging wrinkles, improves appearance as called anti-aging. These methods provide state-of-the-art dentures while decreasing the number of clinic visits for the patient. The embodiments employ specialized impression trays, a facial and bite registration instrument, and teeth selection kit strips of films to increase the efficiency of the denture-making process. The facial registration instrument comprises adjustable rods and plates to secure a temporary measuring grid above the patient's face, allowing for more accurate marking of anatomical features on wax bite blocks.
