    摘要: A connector including a terminal fitting having a wire connecting portion crimped to an end of a wire and configured to be inserted into a terminal accommodating chamber of a housing. A sleeve is mounted on a rear part of the terminal fitting and retains the terminal fitting by engaged the terminal fitting and a wall surface of the terminal accommodating chamber. A heat shrinkable tube is fitted on an outer periphery of the wire connecting portion while being accommodated in the sleeve and held in close contact with an outer periphery of the terminal fitting by being thermally shrunk. The sleeve includes a lift-up portion for holding the heat shrinkable tube in a fitted state so that a clearance is secured between the heat shrinkable tube and an upper surface of the wire connecting portion by lifting up the heat shrinkable tube before thermal shrinkage in a radial direction.

    摘要: An electrical connector for mating with a mating connector having a metal elastic sheet. The electrical connector includes an insulating body, a middle shielding sheet and a metal casing. The insulating body includes a base, a tongue extending forward from the base, and an upper row and a lower row of terminals. Each upper and lower row terminals has a contact portion exposed from upper and lower surfaces of the tongue respectively. The middle shielding sheet is disposed in the tongue and located between the upper row and lower row of terminals. The middle shielding sheet includes a groove exposed from a side of the tongue, for being buckled by the metal elastic sheet to stop forward displacement of the metal elastic sheet. The metal casing wraps a periphery of the insulation body to form a mating cavity, for the mating connector to be entered therein.

    摘要: A feedthrough filter capacitor assembly comprising a terminal pin connector is described. The terminal pin connector is designed to facilitate an electrical connection between the terminal pin comprising a multitude of compositions to a circuit board of an implantable medical device. The terminal pin connector comprises a clip portion positioned within a connector housing. The connector clip mechanically attaches to the terminal pin of the feedthrough and an exterior surface of the connector housing electrically contacts the circuit board, creating an electrical connection therebetween. The connector housing comprises a material that is conducive to a weld or solder attachment process to the circuit board. The feedthrough filter capacitor assembly is particularly useful for incorporation into implantable medical devices such as cardiac pacemakers, cardioverter defibrillators, and the like, to decouple and shield internal electronic components of the medical device from undesirable electromagnetic interference (EMI) signals.
