摘要: A modular hopper tee including a modified tee box, a tee box liner, a readily detachable inflow adapter for coupling a first pipe to the tee box and a readily detachable outflow adapter for coupling a second pipe to the tee box, the liner and adapters being constructed from an elastomeric polymer such as polyurethane. Each of the inflow and outflow adapters includes a flange portion and a cylinder portion extending through the flange portion, the flange portion dividing the cylinder portion into a first cylinder portion that extends through a sidewall opening of the tee box and sealingly engages the liner and a second cylinder portion that is located outside of the box. A metal cylinder member, which is embedded within the first cylinder portion and surrounds an exterior of the second cylinder portion, is provided for reinforcing the adapter.

摘要: The present disclosure generally pertains to blocks for building landscape walls and similar structures, the molds used to make the blocks, and the methods for making the blocks. Such block can be securely coupled to another block. A block can be vertically coupled to another block by coupling the dorsal face of one block to the ventral face of another block. The block can be horizontally coupled by coupling the male side of one block to the female side of another block. A secure, exemplary landscape wall may be created by coupling the blocks both horizontally and vertically to reach a desired height, width, and shape.

摘要: The present disclosure generally pertains to endoscopes configured to utilize a single optical channel for both image extraction and illumination. In certain embodiments, the disclosure contemplates an endoscope configured with a source of illumination outside of the visible spectrum, such as ultraviolet (UV) light, with the endoscope configured to down-convert such illumination into visible light at the distal end of the endoscope. This configuration not only avoids or reduces image flooding caused by the unwanted reflections on optical surfaces within the endoscope relays and objective, but also doubles the effective area of the lenses, thereby allowing higher quality imaging.

摘要: A payment reader includes a power management system to control the power mode of the payment reader. The power management system can transition the payment reader between a sleep mode, a low power mode and a full power mode. The power management system can use a low power mode reference counter to determine when to transition from the full power mode to the low power mode and a sleep mode reference counter to determine when to transition from the low power mode to the sleep mode. When the low power mode reference counter reaches zero, the power management system deactivates a payment processing subsystem to transition to the low power mode. Similarly, when the sleep mode reference counter reaches zero, the power management system deactivates a payment reader system to transition to the sleep mode.

摘要: A gasket for preventing separation of interconnected pipes including a compressible body having a plurality of multi-sectioned metal segments partially embedded therein. The multi-sectioned metal segments are arranged in groups of two or more or as a continuous ring of segments. The multi-sectioned anti-slip segments are free to articulate according to the curvature of the outer surface of the spigot in a pipe joint. The presence of the multi-sectioned or articulating anti-slip segments increases the resultant segment density on large diameter pipes.
