Abstract: A metal-based dissolvable ball seat comprises a mandrel, a tail base, a sliding body, a slip and a sealing ring. The mandrel can be disengaged from the tail base under predefined shearing force. The sliding body is disposed to sleeve the mandrel and located above the tail base; the slip is disposed outside the mandrel and slidably abutted against the tail base and the sliding body respectively; the slip and the sliding body are slidably abutted against each other through a first conical surface structure, and/or the slip and the tail base are slidably abutted against each other through a second conical surface structure; the sealing ring is movable along axial direction of the mandrel together with the slip; when the sliding body and the tail base are approaching each other, the slip opens up and the sealing ring expands outward. A setting system and a setting method are provided.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a device and methods for determining the original stratum direction of a core. The device includes a confining pressure pump, a resistance meter, and a core holder composed of upper and lower portions. The present disclosure further provides three methods for determining the original stratum direction of the core. The three methods respectively use the device to measure resistance values at different positions of the core, and compare a test result with an imaging result of resistivity imaging logging data to determine the rock direction of the core in a stratum.

The present disclosure also provides a method for selective oligomerization of ethylene accomplished by using the above-mentioned catalyst. The catalyst for selective oligomerization of ethylene has high catalytic activity, high selectivity for the target products 1-hexene and 1-octene, and low selectivity for 1-butene and 1-C10+.

Abstract: The invention provides a method and an apparatus for determining an integrated exploitation approach for a shale and adjacent oil reservoirs. The method includes: determining a thickness of an effective shale, a top effective boundary and a bottom effective boundary of adjacent effective oil reservoirs; determining a maximum seepage radius of each of the adjacent effective oil reservoirs to the effective shale; determining a well pattern; determining a well completion approach; and determining a total number of perforation clusters of gas injection wells, a number of perforation clusters corresponding to each of the adjacent effective oil reservoirs, a gas injection amount per unit time of each of the perforation clusters, and a total gas injection amount per unit time of the gas injection wells. The effective shale is in communication with all the adjacent effective oil reservoirs by boring-through of a fluctuating horizontal well or a vertical well.

Abstract: A gamma ray spectrum unfolding method for elemental capture spectroscopy logging and a device therefor including the steps of first preprocessing the data obtained from an elemental capture spectrometry instrument; constructing a primary element group and an auxiliary element group according to the degree of interactions among the elements via theoretical analysis and numerical calculation of spectrum profiles, characteristic peak channels, and backgrounds of different elements; unfolding by using the least square method based on the construction of the primary element group and the auxiliary element group; and finally reconstructing the spectrum based on theory according to the yield of each element obtained by unfolding with the least square method, and comparing the measured gamma ray spectrum with the reconstructed gamma ray spectrum for error control, thereby improving the spectrum unfolding precision.

Abstract: Identifying a low permeable conglomerate diagenetic trap can be implemented according to a method that comprises: determining a first relation curve between a depth and a critical physical property of a known diagenetic trap in a target work area, and a second relation curve between a reservoir physical property of the known diagenetic trap and a designated seismic attribute; determining a third relation curve between the depth and the critical physical property in the target work area and the designated seismic attribute according to the first relation curve and the second relation curve; and performing a diagenetic trap identification of the target work area according to the third relation curve. Identification accuracy of a low permeable conglomerate diagenetic trap can thereby be improved.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for determining a volume stability of well cement including a reaction kettle, a radial contraction, an expansion ring, a heater, a pressurizer, and a volume change parameter tester. The radial contraction and expansion ring include a first casing and a second casing, the first casing is a casing made of elastic material, the second casing is a steel casing, and the first casing sheathes the second casing. The heater and the pressurizer are used to provide a preset temperature and a preset pressure respectively and the volume change parameter tester is used to detect a radial volume change parameter of the well cement. The apparatus is provided with the radial contraction and expansion ring to acquire the radial volume change parameter of the well cement, and comprehensively evaluates the volume stability of the well cement using the radial volume change parameter of the well cement.

Abstract: The invention relates to a molecular sieve modification method and a catalytic cracking catalyst containing a molecular sieve. The method comprises: mixing a solution containing an ion of a Group MB metal in the periodic table, an organic complexing agent, and/or a dispersant and a precipitation agent, and stirring the same to form a suspension containing a precipitant of a Group IIIB element; and mixing the resulting precipitant and a molecular sieve slurry, stirring the same to obtain a mixed slurry containing the precipitant of the Group MB element and a molecular sieve, and performing spray drying and optional calcination, to obtain a modified molecular sieve. The catalyst comprises, as calculated based on the catalyst mass being 100%, 10-55% of a modified molecular sieve (on a dry basis), 10-80% of clay (on a dry basis), 0-40% of an inorganic oxide (on an oxide basis), and 5-40% of a binding agent (on an oxide basis). The catalyst has good activity stability and heavy metal contamination resistance.
