Abstract: A method and system for providing content includes a network having a plurality of receiving units generating a plurality of recording or tuning requests for content and communicating the recording or tuning requests through the network. The system includes a first receiving unit of the plurality of receiving units that is selected by the network to receive content corresponding to the request and stream the content to the network. A second receiving unit receives the content from the network.

Abstract: This disclosure describes techniques to optimize dewatering process in a production facility. A process separates components in a mixture by using a separation device and a dewatering device. The process receives the mixture of liquids and solids, and separates out suspended solids from the mixture of liquids and solids by using the separation device, wherein a liquid with insoluble solids stream is created. The process dewaters the liquid with insoluble solids stream by using the dewatering device to produce a liquid with small particles stream and insoluble solids having particle sizes that are greater than about 20 microns to about 1000 microns.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to, in part, an aliphatic polycarbonate polymerization reaction initiated by combining an epoxide with carbon dioxide in the presence of a catalytic transition metal-ligand complex to form a reaction mixture, and further quenching that polymerization reaction by contacting the reaction mixture with an acid containing a non-nucleophilic anion produces a crude polymer solution with improved stability and processability.

Abstract: An apparatus and method are described for the efficient migration of architectural state between processor cores. For example, a processor according to one embodiment comprises: a first processing core having a first instruction execution pipeline including first register set for storing a first architectural state of a first thread being executed thereon; a second processing core having a second instruction execution pipeline including a second register set for storing a second architectural state of a second thread being executed thereon; and architectural state migration logic to perform a direct, simultaneous swap of the first architectural state from the first register set with the second architectural state from the second register set responsive to detecting that the execution of the first thread is to be migrated from the first core to the second core.
