    Abstract: There is provided a head chip and so on capable of achieving the reduction in power consumption and the improvement in print image quality while suppressing the manufacturing cost of the head chip. The head chip according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes an actuator plate having a plurality of ejection grooves and a plurality of electrodes, a nozzle plate having a plurality of nozzle holes, and a cover plate having a wall part, a first through hole, and a second through hole. The plurality of nozzle holes includes a plurality of first nozzle holes arranged so as to be shifted toward the first through hole, and a plurality of second nozzle holes arranged so as to be shifted toward the second through hole. In a first ejection groove communicated with the first nozzle hole, a first cross-sectional area of a part communicated with the first through hole is smaller than a second cross-sectional area of a part communicated with the second through hole. Positions of both ends of the electrode along the extending direction of the ejection grooves are each aligned in the plurality of electrodes along a predetermined direction.

    Abstract: A head chip capable of suppressing the degradation of the reliability, and a liquid jet head and a liquid jet recording device using the head chip are provided. The head chip includes an actuator plate having a plurality of ejection channels respectively communicated with nozzle holes and electrodes disposed on inner walls of the respective ejection channels, a bonded plate to be bonded to the actuator plate, and having a liquid contact surface which liquid entered the ejection channels has contact with, an adhesive layer disposed between the bonded plate and the actuator plate, and adapted to bond the bonded plate and the actuator plate to each other, and a protective film adapted to cover continuously from inner walls of the respective ejection channels to at least a part of the liquid contact surface via an end surface of the adhesive layer exposed on the ejection channel side.

    Abstract: Reduction of the size of the droplet in 1-drop ejection is easily performed. A liquid jet head according to an example of the disclosure includes a nozzle adapted to jet a liquid, a piezoelectric actuator having a pressure chamber communicated with the nozzle and filled with the liquid, and adapted to vary a capacity of the pressure chamber, and a control section adapted to apply a pulse signal to the piezoelectric actuator to thereby expand and contract the capacity of the pressure chamber so as to jet the liquid filling the pressure chamber. The control section applies the pulse signal adapted to expand the capacity in the pressure chamber when jetting 1 drop of the liquid so as to include a first pulse signal having a pulse width one of equal to or shorter than an on-pulse peak, and a second pulse signal disposed with a predetermined time interval from the first pulse signal.

    Abstract: There are provided a liquid jet head and a liquid jet recording device each capable of appropriately cutting off the liquid column formed immediately after being jetted from the jet hole to prevent the satellite droplet from generating, and further achieving easier maintenance of the jet hole part. The liquid jet head includes a drive actuator, a jet hole plate, and a flow channel operating actuator. The drive actuator applies a pressure variation to a liquid filled therein.
