Abstract: There are provided a characteristic table generation system and so on capable of enhancing the convenience of the user. The characteristic table generation system according to an embodiment of the present disclosure is a system for generating a predictive voltage characteristic table for defining a predictive characteristic curve, the system including a data acquisition section configured to obtain a measured viscosity characteristic table defining a measured characteristic curve between viscosity and temperature of the liquid, and a predetermined parameter separately, as input data, a conversion coefficient generation section configured to generate a conversion coefficient used when performing a conversion process from the measured characteristic curve into the predictive characteristic curve based on the predetermined parameter using a first analytical method as a predetermined analytical method which takes the predetermined parameter as an explanatory variable, and which takes the conversion coefficient as an objective variable, and a table generation section configured to perform the conversion process using the measured viscosity characteristic table and the conversion coefficient generated by the conversion coefficient generation section to thereby generate the predictive voltage characteristic table.

Abstract: There are provided a liquid jet head and so on capable of ensuring the ejection stability of the liquid even when jetting the liquid high in viscosity irrespective of the structure of the liquid jet head. The liquid jet head according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a plurality of nozzles, an actuator having a plurality of pressure chambers, and a drive section for applying a drive signal to the actuator. The plurality of pulses in the drive signal include at least one first pulse configured to expand the volume of the pressure chamber, and at least one second pulse configured to contract the volume of the pressure chamber, and the pressure in the pressure chamber changes with time including a plurality of extremal values in one cycle. First timing as expansion start timing of the volume of the pressure chamber by the first pulse and second timing as contraction start timing of the volume of the pressure chamber by the second pulse are adjacent to each other, and both of the first timing and the second timing are located in a period between two consecutive extremal values of the plurality of extremal values.

Abstract: An ejection volume of a liquid can more finely be adjusted without lowering the ejection speed. The liquid jet head includes a plurality of nozzles adapted to jet the liquid, a piezoelectric actuator having a plurality of pressure chambers corresponding respectively to the nozzles and filled with the liquid, and adapted to vary a capacity of each of the pressure chambers, and a control section adapted to apply a pulse signal to the piezoelectric actuator to thereby expand and contract the capacity of the pressure chamber so as to jet the liquid with which the pressure chamber is filled. The control section generates a drive waveform including a plurality of the pulse signals adapted to expand the capacity of the pressure chamber, and sets a crest value of either of the pulse signals other than the pulse signal applied last to a different value from a crest value of another of the pulse signals in the drive waveform.

Abstract: Reduction of the size of the droplet in 1-drop ejection is easily performed. A liquid jet head according to an example of the disclosure includes a nozzle adapted to jet a liquid, a piezoelectric actuator having a pressure chamber communicated with the nozzle and filled with the liquid, and adapted to vary a capacity of the pressure chamber, and a control section adapted to apply a pulse signal to the piezoelectric actuator to thereby expand and contract the capacity of the pressure chamber so as to jet the liquid filling the pressure chamber. The control section applies the pulse signal adapted to expand the capacity in the pressure chamber when jetting 1 drop of the liquid so as to include a first pulse signal having a pulse width one of equal to or shorter than an on-pulse peak, and a second pulse signal disposed with a predetermined time interval from the first pulse signal.

Abstract: A jet parameter generation system according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a data acquisition section, and a parameter generation section for generating a predetermined jet parameter, using a predetermined analytical method of taking a predetermined input parameter as an explanatory variable and taking a predetermined jet parameter as an objective variable. The parameter generation section determines which one of a first standard for setting a voltage value with which a drop volume of the liquid to be a reference is obtained and a second standard for setting a voltage value with which an ejection speed of the liquid to be a reference is obtained is to be selected, selects a first explanatory variable group when determining to select the first standard, while selecting a second explanatory variable group when determined to select the second standard, and uses the predetermined analytical method using just selected one of the first explanatory variable group and the second explanatory variable group to thereby generate the predetermined jet parameter.
