Abstract:
Disclosed is a display device in which reliable bonding strength and high reparability are compatible when a panel-like member is bonded to a display panel. The display device comprises: a display panel; and a panel-like member bonded to the display panel with an adhesive made of an ultraviolet curable resin; wherein the adhesive includes a first adhesive portion and a second adhesive portion, the first adhesive portion being provided outside of a display area of the display panel and formed in a circular shape to surround the display area, the second adhesive portion prevailing in an area surrounded by the first adhesive portion, the first adhesive portion being different in a modulus of elasticity from the second adhesive portion, and wherein the modulus of elasticity of the second adhesive portion is smaller than the modulus of elasticity of the first adhesive portion.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a liquid crystal display device having an ODF (one drop-fill) type middle-sized or miniaturized liquid crystal display panel. In a liquid crystal display device which includes a liquid crystal display panel having a pair of substrates, a sealing member which is formed on a peripheral portion between the pair of substrates without a cut, and liquid crystal which is sealed in a space surrounded by the sealing member between the pair of substrates, one substrate out of the pair of substrates includes at least one line layer which is formed along a first side of one substrate, and a portion of the sealing member which is formed along the first side of one substrate is formed in a zigzag pattern such that the sealing member traverses at least one line layer plural times.
Abstract:
In a display device having a touch panel, it is possible to prevent the generation of a screen defect caused by the intrusion of air bubbles into a UV curing resin formed between a touch panel and a display panel. The touch panel is constituted of an upper transparent-electrode-attached film and a lower transparent-electrode-attached film, and an air hole is formed in the lower transparent-electrode-attached film. Due to such constitution, in adhering the touch panel and the display panel to each other in a vacuum using a UV curing resin, air in the touch panel is also discharged and hence, there is no possibility that the touch panel swells. Accordingly, it is possible to prevent warping of the lower transparent-electrode-attached film and hence, in curing the UV curing resin for adhering the touch panel and the display panel to each other, it is possible to prevent the entanglement of air into the UV curing resin. Accordingly, a touch-panel attached display device free from a screen defect attributed to air bubbles can be manufactured.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a liquid crystal display device to which retardation of a desired value is imparted. In the liquid crystal display device of the invention, orientation films which are oriented by the light radiation possess a retardation value of 1.0 nm or more and an anchoring strength of 1.0×10−3 Jm−2 or more.

Abstract:
This invention discloses a process for producing tissue plasminogen activator. The process comprises cultivating Escherichia coli, yeast, or mammalian cells into which the vector having the gene for human tissue plasminogen activator (tPA) has been introduced by the recombinant DNA technology. In the cultivation or purification process, a specific antiplasmin agent, which is one of the protease inhibitors, is added to the medium and/or the buffer solutions used for purification, so as to prevent the conversion of single-chain form tPA into double-chain form tPA by a protease which is present in the medium.
