Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed. In an example from the perspective of a first device, the first device performs sidelink communication with one or more destinations. The first device receives and/or selects a sidelink grant associated with a sidelink transmission. Responsive to the sidelink grant, the first device selects a first destination of the one or more destinations based upon a report signaling. The first device performs the sidelink transmission associated with the sidelink grant to the first destination.

Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed. In an example, a first device receives first information and second information from a base station. The first device is configured with a configured grant for sidelink communication via the first information. The configured grant is indicative of first resources for sidelink communication. The second information is indicative of one or more timing offsets and an identity for second resources. The first device transmits sidelink data to a second device via a first resource of the first resources. The first device receives and/or detects a first signal, from the second device, indicative of a reception result associated with the sidelink data. The first device determines a second time and a frequency location based on the second information. The first device transmits a second signal to the base station via a second resource associated with the second time and the frequency location.

Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed from the perspective of a second User Equipment (UE) for performing sidelink communication. In one embodiment, the method includes the second UE being (pre-)configured with a sidelink resource pool in a carrier or cell, wherein a DRX (Discontinuous Reception) pattern is associated to the sidelink resource pool. The method also includes the second UE selecting a resource in the sidelink resource pool based on the DRX pattern, wherein a specific message becomes available for transmission in the second UE. The method further includes the second UE transmitting the specific message on the resource to a plurality of UEs comprising at least a first UE.

Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed. In an example from the perspective of a first device, the first device performs sidelink communication with a first set of destinations, wherein one or more devices, associated with a destination of the first set of destinations, discontinuously monitor one or more sidelink control channels and/or one or more sidelink control informations (SCIs). The first device receives a sidelink grant from a network, wherein the sidelink grant is for performing a sidelink transmission at a first timing. The first device selects, from among a second set of destinations, a first destination for the sidelink transmission, wherein each destination of the second set of destinations is determined to have an active time for sidelink containing the first timing.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses for Sidelink Discontinuous Reception (SL DRX) in a wireless communication system to avoid ambiguity on slot offset calculations on SL DRX. A method for a UE comprises performing a SL communication associated with a destination Identity (ID), having a SL DRX configuration associated with the SL communication, wherein the SL DRX configuration comprises at least an on-duration timer and a DRX cycle, deriving a first offset associated with the SL communication based on the destination ID and the DRX cycle, deriving a second offset associated with the SL communication based on the destination ID and a number of slots per subframe, starting the on-duration timer after a time period determined based on the second offset from the beginning of a subframe, wherein the subframe is determined based on at least the first offset, and monitoring Sidelink Control Information (SCI) when the on-duration timer is running.

In an example from the perspective of a User Equipment (UE), the UE receives one or more uplink grants scheduling a first uplink transmission and a second uplink transmission on a first serving cell. The first uplink transmission is associated with a first Timing Advance (TA). The second uplink transmission is associated with a second TA. The first uplink transmission at least partially overlaps with the second uplink transmission in time domain. Based on a comparison of a TA difference, between the first TA and the second TA, with a first threshold, the UE transmits at least one of the first uplink transmission or the second uplink transmission.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for handling device-to-device feedback transmission in a wireless communication system are disclosed herein. In one method, a first device receives a configuration for operating in a network scheduling mode for acquiring sidelink resources. The first device receives a sidelink control information with a report request from a second device. The first device triggers or is triggered to transmit a report to the second device in response to the report request. If the first device has no available sidelink resource for transmitting the report, the first device triggers a scheduling request. The first device transmits a signaling of the scheduling request to the network. The first device receives a sidelink grant from the network. The first device utilizes sidelink resource(s) indicated by the sidelink grant to transmit the report to the second device.
