摘要: Various traffic management techniques may be employed in a multi-hop wireless communication system. For example, a decision to transmit data to another node may be based on whether that node is able to effectively transmit its data. A decision to transmit an interference management message may be based on the amount of data a parent node may transmit. A decision to transmit an interference management message may be based on how effectively data is being transmitted. A weight may be assigned for an interference management message based on a traffic scheduling policy.

摘要: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide a technique for bundling the received service data units (SDU) in a first communication layer to generate a protocol data unit (PDU) to pass to a second communication layer. For example, one or more packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) SDUs may be concatenated to generate a PDCP PDU and be sent to a radio link control (RLC) layer in the transmitter side. Similarly, one or more PDCP SDUs may be extracted from a PDCP PDU in the receiver side.

摘要: Systems and methodologies are described that facilitate unbundling and processing partial packet data units (PDU). PDUs can be transmitted at a communication layer and can include partial PDUs of a disparate communication layer. Complete SDUs can be determined in the partial PDU and provided to an upper communication layer. In addition, however, the partial PDU can comprise a partial SDU. Upon receiving a remaining or additional portion of the partial PDU, a remaining or additional portion of the partial SDU can be combined with the partial SDU to create a complete SDU (or a larger portion thereof). Where a complete SDU is created, it can be provided to an upper communication layer. Alternatively, the partial PDU can be combined with the remaining portion of the partial PDU to generate a complete or larger PDU, from which the previously incomplete SDU can be retrieved and provided to an upper communication layer.

摘要: Methods and apparatuses for dynamic interference management for wireless networks are disclosed. A node in a wireless network is configured to determine whether to cease transmissions during a period of time designated for a first node to transmit to a second node based on at least parameter relating to a channel between the first and second nodes.

摘要: Aspects are disclosed for sequencing and correlating a positioning reference signal. A set of reference symbols associated with a reference signal are allocated, and a base sequence is generated. An extended sequence, which includes the set of reference symbols, is then provided according to the base sequence. The extended sequence is then transmitted in a sub-frame designated as an idle period. A sequence of reference symbols is received from a base station during an idle period of the base station. A replicated sequence of reference symbols is generated, and a correlation is ascertained between a subset of the received sequence of reference symbols and a corresponding subset of the replicated sequence of reference symbols. The received sequence of reference symbols is then identified according to the correlation.

摘要: In a first method, a first apparatus determines a channel gain to a second apparatus with which the first apparatus is communicating. The first apparatus determines interferer backoff information that ensures an interference level at the first apparatus such that a signal received from the second apparatus can be decoded reliably. The interferer backoff information is determined based on the channel gain. The first apparatus transmits information based on the interferer backoff information in a message to the second apparatus. In a second method, a first apparatus in communication with a second apparatus determines a channel gain to a third apparatus with which the first apparatus can potentially interfere. The first apparatus receives a message from the third apparatus. The message includes interferer backoff information. The first apparatus determines a power for transmitting a signal to the second apparatus based on the interferer backoff information and the channel gain.
