    摘要： The systems and methods described herein allow a user to communicate using a ground sensor network that is capable of both line-of-sight (LOS) and non-line-of-sight (NLOS) communication. In particular, the systems and methods herein described transmit and receive ultraviolet radiation having a wavelength within the solar blind region from a plurality of sensing nodes arranged both in a LOS network, which communicates via LOS communication, and in a NLOS network, which communicates via NLOS communication. The ultraviolet radiation is then transmitted from the plurality of sensing nodes to a remote receiver, via LOS communication.

    摘要： A system and method for mixing and delivering fluids such as contrast media and saline is disclosed including at least two fluid sources, a pump, a joining fluid path connecting the at least two fluid sources to an inlet to the pump, and a valve device in the fluid path upstream of the pump. The valve device includes an actuator adapted to restrict flow in at least one of respective fluid lines connecting the at least two fluid sources to the pump inlet. A patient interface device may be associated with an outlet of the pump. The valve device actuator is generally adapted to restrict the flow in at least one of the respective fluid lines such that a positional change in valve device actuator position provides a change in fluid mixture ratio of the fluids from the at least two fluid sources to the pump inlet.

    摘要： A valve system for use in a system including a first source of a first pressurized fluid and a second source of a second pressurized fluid includes a valve housing including a first inlet port adapted to be placed in fluid connection with the first source, a second inlet port adapted to be placed in fluid connection with the second source and an outlet port. The valve system further includes a backflow prevention system to prevent flow of the first pressurized fluid through the second inlet and to prevent flow of the second pressurized fluid through the first inlet port. The valve system is adapted to provide a fluid path between at least the first inlet port and the outlet port to enable fluid to be drawn from the outlet port to the first inlet port. Several of the valve systems of the present invention provide for flow from the first inlet port to the outlet port and concurrent flow from the second inlet port to the outlet port.

    摘要： An injector system includes an injector and a syringe. The injector includes a housing having a front wall, a drive member moveable through the front wall of the housing, and a pressure jacket assembly for operably associating the syringe with the housing. The pressure jacket assembly includes a rearward end mounted on the front wall of the housing and a forward open end for receiving the syringe therethrough. The syringe includes a body having a main section, a conical section in fluid communication with the main section and a fluid discharge section in fluid communication with the conical section. The syringe further includes a plunger movably disposed in the body. The plunger includes one or more hook members extending rearward from the plunger for connecting the plunger to the drive member of the injector. The syringe also includes a protrusion for facilitating handling of the syringe. Preferably, the protrusion is operably associated with and extends forwardly from the conical section of the body.

    摘要： A front-loading syringe, which comprises a movable plunger for injecting liquid contrast media, is mountable on a front wall of an injector housing having a pressure jacket, by a first quick release mechanism. At the same time, the plunger is connected to an injector drive mechanism by a second readily releasable mechanism. During the mounting operation, a sensor reads injection information from an indicator device on the syringe and feeds it to an injector control. An injection end of the syringe may include loop-shaped reinforcing handle portions.
