A supporting and guide roller for pull-out guides for drawers comprises a roller body made of hard material, the shell surface of the roller body forming a first rolling surface, at least one circumferential groove being arranged in the area of the first rolling surface and being filled with an elastic material, which forms a second rolling surface when the roller is not under load and projects a certain amount over the first rolling surface. The second rolling surface is arranged in the area of a wider notch in the roller body extending in the peripheral direction of the roller. When the soft rolling surface is under load, the material of the soft rolling surface is displaced into the area of the notch.

An apparatus includes an enclosure including one or more ultraviolet lights configured to kill germs, the enclosure including a drawer for placing items into and removing items from the enclosure, wherein the enclosure is configured for insertion into an existing cabinet. The apparatus can include an adjustable width bracket, wherein the adjustable width bracket allows the enclosure to be secured against side surfaces within the existing cabinet. The apparatus can also include an adjustable depth bracket, wherein the adjustable depth bracket allows the enclosure to be secured against a back surface within the existing cabinet. The apparatus can also include a bottom bracket, wherein the bottom bracket allows the enclosure to be secured against a bottom surface of the existing surface. In one example, the enclosure is connected to an air filtration system.

A shelf system is shown and described. A post has an aperture. A pin is configured to extend through that aperture. The pin has a head having a first circumference and a body having a second circumference. A collar is configured to encircle the post and rest on the pin head and body. In operation the collar, and any associated shelf, is able to rotate smoothly and stably around the post.

A roller and stopper mechanism for drawer slide systems which overcomes the disadvantages of the prior art and effectively provides a low friction rolling surface between two drawer slides in directions parallel to and perpendicular to the length of the drawer slide, and provides a stopper to provide shock absorbing means to the system. The roller and stopper mechanism includes a body portion with two opposing ends and two opposing sides, and having a roller associated therewith, a first leg portion extending substantially perpendicular from one end of the body portion, and having a roller associated therewith, and a second leg portion extending substantially perpendicular from the opposite end of the body portion, and having a roller associated therewith.

A drawer slide support and closure apparatus designed to support a drawer within its supporting frame includes one or more drawer support members connecting the frame front and back each of which has an upstanding member with a ridge formed therewith forming a guide rail. A ridge surrounding slidable member encompasses the guide rail and is movable with respect to it. The ridge surrounding member is affixed to the bottom of the drawer and enables slidable movement between the guide rail supported by the frame and the ridge surrounding member affixed to the drawer. Rollers provide additional support for the drawer in the open position, and a spring enables positive opening and closing of the drawer. A shock absorber minimizes sound and impact when the drawer is firmly closed.

A mounting plate for a furniture hinge includes a hinge plate pivotably connected to a hinge component, such as a hinge cup, on a pivot axis. At least one front support members depends from the front edge of the hinge plate and is spaced a predetermined radial distance from the pivot axis. The front support member depends a distance from the hinge plate that is less than, and preferably not greater than three-fourths, the predetermined radial distance between the front support member and the pivot axis. The mounting plate also includes at least one opposing rear support member depending from the rear edge of the hinge plate a distance that is at least as great as, and preferably, at least one and three-fourths times, the distance by which the front support member depends from the hinge plate. At least one fastener opening is formed in one or both of the hinge plate and the at least one rear support member, and the front and rear support members are adapted to confront opposing sides of a cabinet member on which the mounting plate is installed and cooperatively provide subjacent lateral support for the cabinet member when a fastener received through the fastener opening is inserted into the cabinet member.
