    摘要: An image processing device includes an image output unit, an image input unit, and a tone-correction-parameter generation unit. The image output unit outputs a tone-correction-parameter generation sheet to generate a parameter for correcting a tone of an input image. The tone-correction-parameter generation sheet includes a plurality of patches for at least two types of screens. At least one of the at least two types of screens includes more patches of an identical color and tone than at least another of the at least two types of screens. The image input unit inputs a representative value of each patch read from the tone-correction-parameter generation sheet outputted by the image output unit. The tone-correction-parameter generation unit generates the parameter in accordance with a plurality of representative values inputted by the image input unit.

    摘要: An image forming apparatus includes a photoreceptor drum, a charging part, an exposure unit, a developing part which feeds a photoreactive toner, a color formation exposure part, a transfer part, a recording medium feeding part, a fixing part, and a control unit part which controls operations of the above elements. The control unit part controls such that a photoreactive toner processed so as not to develop a color is transferred to a recording medium having transferred or fixed thereto a toner image processed so as to develop a color, and a photoreactive toner processed so as not to develop a color is fixed to an image formed on the recording medium, thereby forming a transparent toner coat layer which is a colorless and transparent toner layer.

    摘要: In exemplary implementations of this invention, a handheld, collapsible input device (CID) may be employed by a user to input and manipulate 3D information. The CID telescopes in length. As a user presses the CID against a display screen, the physical length of the CID shortens, and the display screen displays a virtual end of the CID that appears to project through the screen into the virtual 3D space behind the screen. The total apparent length of the CID, comprised of a physical portion and a virtual portion, remains the same (after taking into account foreshortening). Thus, the user experience is that, as the user holds the physical CID and pushes it against the display screen, the end of the CID appears to be pushed through the display screen into the virtual 3D space beyond it. The CID housing may include a push button for user input.

    摘要: An image output device includes a storage unit, an input unit, a layout deriving unit, and an output unit. The storage unit preliminarily stores therein an optimum interval of a plurality of the same color and tone patches formed on a sheet at which an average density value of the patches is stabilized. The input unit receives an input of a condition for arrangement of the patches from a user. The layout deriving unit determines arrangement of the patches on the sheet on the basis of the input condition for arrangement and the optimum interval. The output unit outputs the patches onto the sheet in the determined arrangement.
