Abstract:
The present invention relates to a zinc oxide phosphor characterized by emitting visible light with a broad emission spectrum close to white, and a process for producing the same. A powder prepared by adding a plurality of additives to zinc oxide and heat-treating the resulting mixture is further hydrogenated to improve the luminous efficiency of the zinc oxide phosphor. The zinc oxide phosphor providing a broad emission spectrum covering a wavelength range over substantially the entire visible region can be applied to a white diode, a white vacuum fluorescent display, and a fluorescent paint.
Abstract:

The broadcast receiving apparatus includes a keyword holding unit which holds a keyword to determine whether a program is desired to be received by the user, a program information obtaining unit which obtains program information of each broadcast before respective broadcasts of a plurality of broadcast programs for which the receiving reservation is performed are received, a determining unit which determines whether the program information of the respective broadcasts obtained includes the keyword, and an inhibiting unit which inhibits the reception of the respective broadcasts when determining that the keyword is included in the program information of the respective broadcasts.
Abstract:
A sheet finisher of the invention includes a saddle stitch unit configured to stitch a center of a sheet bundle in which printed sheets are bundled, a fold unit configured to fold the center stitched by the saddle stitch unit and to form a fold line, and a fold reinforcing unit configured to reinforce the fold line formed by the fold unit, the fold reinforcing unit includes a placement table on which the sheet bundle transported from the fold unit is placed, and a roller unit that includes a reinforce roller and moves the reinforce roller along a direction of the fold line while pressing it to the fold line, and the placement table is provided with a groove-like edge clearance along an edge of the sheet bundle.
Abstract:
The embodiments of the present invention relate to a double-side printer system in which two thermal heads printing print data on a front face and a back face of a thermal recording paper in which thermo-sensitive layers are formed on both sides are provided, and when these thermal heads are driven in accordance with the print data, temperatures of these thermal heads are sensed in order to vary print densities of the data to be printed, and ON/OFF times for electrical connections are controlled with respect to heater elements of the respective thermal heads, and to a control method thereof.
Abstract:
The connector includes a card and a housing for housing the card. The housing includes a non-conductive housing main body having a housing space for housing the card, a contact for connecting the card, the contact being disposed in the housing main body, and a first conductor portion for connecting the card in the housing space, the first conductor portion being disposed in the housing main body but insulated from the contacts. According to the invention, the connector is first connected to the board and the board is grounded. Next, the card is inserted into the housing space. The card and the first conductor portion are thus connected each other. Then, electric charge electrified on the card face transfers to the ground through the first conductor portion and the board. Consequently, the electrical charge electrified on the card can be easily eliminated.
Abstract:
The invention provides a dielectric resonator device comprising a coaxial dielectric resonator 2 which comprises a dielectric block 21 having a bore 22 extending therethrough, an outer conductor layer 24 formed on an outer peripheral surface of the dielectric block 21, an inner conductor layer 23 formed on the dielectric block 21 over an inner peripheral surface thereof defining the bore 22, a short-circuiting conductor layer 25 providing a short circuit between the outer conductor layer 24 and the inner conductor layer 23, and a separated conductor layer 3 formed on the outer peripheral surface of the dielectric block 21 and electrically separated from the outer conductor layer 24. The separated conductor layer 3 is connected to the ground by a switch SW, which varies the capacity of the resonator 2 upon switching to alter the resonance frequency thereof.
Abstract:
An image forming apparatus forms a stamp image with a stamp image developer having a color developing temperature at a color erasing temperature of an image forming developer, and forms a mask image with a mask image developer having a color re-developing temperature at a temperature not lower than a color re-developing temperature of the image forming developer. Accordingly, when a confidential document is color-erased, the stamp image develops color, and when the color-erased confidential document again develops color, it can not be read.
Abstract:
According to one embodiment, an decoloring apparatus includes: an decoloring processing unit configured to apply decoloring processing decoloring a color of an decolorable colorant; a sheet conveying unit configured to convey the sheet and cause the sheet to pass through the decoloring processing unit; an image reading unit arranged further on an upstream side than the decoloring processing unit in a sheet conveying direction by the sheet conveying unit and configured to read the image formed on the sheet conveyed by the sheet conveying unit; a thickness sensor arranged further on the upstream side than the decoloring processing unit in the sheet conveying direction by the sheet conveying unit and configured to detect thickness of the sheet conveyed by the sheet conveying unit; an decolorability determining unit configured to determine, on the basis of a detection result in at least one of the image reading unit and the thickness sensor, executability of the decoloring processing in the decoloring processing unit of the sheet set as a detection target; a storing unit configured to store information indicating a number of sheets determined as decoloring processing unexecutable by the decolorability determining unit; and a display control unit configured to cause, when the apparatus is started, a display to screen-display the information stored in the storing unit indicating the number of sheets determined as decoloring processing unexecutable by the decolorability determining unit.
