摘要: A radiographic image capturing apparatus captures consecutive radiographic images on the basis of the radiation intensity distribution transmitted through a subject, and extracts lung field parts from the captured consecutive radiographic images. A fluctuation condition is detected from the extracted lung field parts, and whether or not the respiratory condition of the subject is suited to radiograph a respiratory behavior of interest is determined on the basis of the detected fluctuation condition.

摘要: There is provided an encoder in which the absolute angle can be detected with high accuracy even when the irradiated position of light to be detected with respect to a scale is displaced from a reference, and a photodetecting device for an encoder used for such an encoder. In the encoder 1, by passing light to be detected through a straight-line light transmitting portion 17, a bright portion 19 to which the light to be detected is irradiated is formed in an area of a scale plate 11 containing mutually separate parts of arranged lines L1 and L2 and also a dark portion 20 to which no light to be detected is irradiated is formed in the other area. Accordingly, a relative angle between light intensity peaks P1 and P2 (reference relative angle) can be uniquely calculated based on the shape of the light transmitting portion 17. Therefore, in the encoder 1, even if the irradiated position of the light to be detected with respect to the scale plate 11 is displaced from the reference, the absolute angle can be detected with high accuracy by calculating a deviation amount of a relative angle on detecting the angle from the reference relative angle as a corrected amount α°.

摘要: An image processing apparatus creates a pixel value histogram of an objective image, and approximates a predetermined range of the created histogram by a bended line formed from two straight lines. Then the apparatus extracts a pixel value at a boundary between a predetermined region and another region of the objective image in accordance with the approximation.

摘要: A water-based ink for inkjet printers contains at least a water-insoluble colorant, a block copolymer of a polyvinyl ether structure comprising at least one kind of hydrophilic segments and at least one kind of hydrophobic segments, water and an alkali. Each of the hydrophilic segments contains acidic groups. A content of the alkali is such that, when an infrared absorption intensity ascribable to ionic groups to be formed upon addition of an excess amount of the alkali to the block copolymer is supposed to be 100%, an infrared absorption intensity ascribable to ionic groups formed by dissociation of the acidic groups contained in the block copolymer becomes at least 80%, with a proviso that the content does not exceed twice as much as a smallest amount of the alkali that an infrared absorption intensity ascribable to ionic groups to be formed from the block copolymer becomes 100%.

摘要: A combustion variation value is detected, and a function that uses the detected combustion variation value is added to CVAR(i−1) to obtain CVAR(i); and using the resulting value, an exhaust gas recirculation amount and an ignition timing are obtained. A combustion variation is detected, and if the detected combustion variation value is equal to or greater than a predetermined value, the value of flag is set to be 1, and the exhaust gas recirculation amount and the ignition timing are reset to previous values. If the detected combustion variation value is less than the predetermined value, the value of the flag is set to be zero, and a current combustion variation manipulation correcting amount CVAR(i) is updated. If the value of flag is 1, the process is immediately terminated.

摘要: In a radiographic image capturing apparatus for capturing radiographic images by controlling a radiation generator and a detection device for converting an intensity distribution of radiation generated by the radiation generator into image information, the exposure conditions of each frame in dynamic image radiography are determined so as to set a total irradiation dose of radiation for the dynamic image radiography to be equal to or smaller than an irradiation dose required for a single static image radiography on the basis of the exposure condition of the dynamic image radiography. The dynamic image radiography is executed by capturing the radiographic image of each frame under the determined exposure conditions.
