Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a communication method and a related device. The method which is implemented by a terminal device includes: receiving a configuration message, where the configuration message indicates the terminal device to establish at least three radio link control (RLC) entities on a first bearer; establishing the at least three RLC entities on the first bearer based on the configuration message; and performing data transmission through at least one RLC entity on the first bearer. According to the application, data transmission reliability is improved and a data transmission latency is reduced.

The method includes: receiving, by a terminal device, a configuration message from a network device, where the configuration message is used to configure a plurality of uplink BWPs and a plurality of downlink BWPs; determining, by the terminal device, a first BWP in the plurality of uplink BWPs, where the first BWP is used to transmit feedback information of downlink information that is on a second BWP, and the second BWP is any one of the plurality of downlink BWPs; receiving, by the terminal device, the downlink information on the second BWP; and sending, by the terminal device, the feedback information of the downlink information by using the first BWP, so that a BWP on which the feedback information is sent can be determined in a scenario in which a plurality of BWPs are activated.

Abstract: This application provides a data transmission method and apparatus, and a system, to reduce outdated information sent by a terminal to a network device, thereby reducing improper scheduling decisions made by the network device. The method includes: sending a first data packet to a network device, and storing the first data packet; receiving a first uplink grant from the network device, and skipping using the first uplink grant to perform uplink transmission; receiving a second uplink grant from the network device, where the second uplink grant is a grant for retransmission and generated due to a failure of transmission on the first uplink grant; and ignoring the second uplink grant, or transmitting a second data packet to the network device based on the second uplink grant.
