摘要: The connector includes a body, a resilient locking arm provided on the body and with a locking projection at its free end which engages in a connection hole in a panel to lock the connector to the panel, and a lock-up detector. The lock-up detector is provided in a preliminarily engaged state between the locking arm and the body prior to the fitting of the connector to the panel with a length thereof protruded more than the locking projection. When the connector is completely locked to the panel, the lock-up detector is released from the preliminarily engaged state and becomes insertable by a push from the opposite side of the panel to the connector. This enables confirmation of whether a connector attached to the end of a wire harness is completely fitted to a panel, e.g., at a door portion of an automobile from outside the panel and improves the reliability of a connector as a product.

摘要: An electric apparatus module 1 includes an upper casing 6, a lower casing 7 to which the upper casing 6 is attached and which is attached to a rear panel 2, an electronic device unit 8 accommodated in the upper casing 6 and the lower casing 7, a conductive shield shell 9 covering the electronic device unit 8, and a conductive ground shell 10 which is attached to the lower casing 7 at a side of the rear panel 2. The ground shell 10 includes a flat plate portion 83 piled on the rear panel 2, a contact piece 84 erected from an outer edge 83c of the flat plate portion 83 toward the lower case 7, and a contact member 85 protruded from a rear surface 83b of the flat plate portion 83 at the side of the rear panel 2. The contact piece 84 is inserted through a through hole 56 formed on the lower casing 7 to contact with the shield shell 9. The contact member 85 is inserted through a through hole 11 formed on the rear panel 2 to contact a cylindrical shield member 22 of an external device.

摘要: There is provided a case member having a structure for preventing the pushing-out of a seal member caused by gas leakage within a connector portion and also for preventing an annular lip portion of the seal member from falling when fitting the connector portion and a mating connector to each other. In the seal member 13, the annular lip portion 13f extends in a direction of connecting of the connector portion 18 to the mating connector in surrounding relation to electrical contact portions 19a of connection terminals 19. A seal member holder 15 is fitted on an outer peripheral surface of the connector portion 18. An annular groove 15f for receiving the annular lip portion 13f of the seal member 13 is formed in this seal member holder 15.

摘要: A connector, which can have impedance matching between the connector and a cable or a mating connector even if the connector is miniaturized, and a manufacturing method thereof are provided. The connector is joined with an end of a cable 5. The connector has terminals, and a holder having an inner holder holding the terminals and an inner housing. The mating connector has terminals, and a holder holding the terminals. The holders are made of a foamed synthetic resin. Expansion ratio of the resin for the holder of the connector is adjusted to match the impedance with each wire of the cable 5. 摘要: A waterproof structure between a cable and a housing is structured not spoiling a waterproof performance even if a cable is bent drawing a rapid curve. The waterproof structure between the cable and the housing comprises the cable led from the housing, a waterproof member closely attached to the housing and the cable, and a peel-prevention member for preventing peeling of the waterproof member with respect to the cable being bent, and is characterized in that the peel-prevention member is mounted on the cable and wrapped internally by the waterproof member. The waterproof member is formed with a hot melt material, and the peel-prevention member is formed with a material having excellent adhesion to the hot melt material. A shrinkage tube is served as the peel-prevention member.

摘要: A coaxial cable shielding terminal for electrically connected at an end of a coaxial wire, comprising a press-clamping portion including a pair of braid press-fastening portions which extend in a generally upstanding manner respectively from opposite side edges of a terminal bottom plate portion, and can be press-connected to a braid of the coaxial wire by press-fastening, and a connection piece which is inserted at its distal end portion between an inner insulating layer of the coaxial cable and the braid from the end side of the coaxial cable so that the braid can be held between the connection piece and distal end portions of the braid press-fastening portions. A retaining portion is projected from an inner surface of each of the braid press-fastening portions so as to block the connection piece to be displaced toward a conductor core of the coaxial cable during the press-fastening operation.
