摘要： The invention relates to a machine-washable item of apparel, in particular a suit jacket, comprising a plurality of garment sections of a first, outer material (3), said first, outer material being a machine-washable fabric having a crease memory, said garment sections being joined to each other by sewn seams using machine-washable thread; a plurality of sections of a second, interfacing material (5), said second interfacing material being a machine-washable, fusible interfacing material, said sections of said second, interfacing material being secured to the inner side of selected ones of said garment sections by heat fusing thereto; and a plurality of sections (9, 10) of a third, lining material, said third, lining material being a machine-washable lining material, said lining sections being joined to each other by sewn seams using machine-washable thread, and said joined lining sections being secured on the inner side of said joined garment sections. The item of apparel may comprise styling inserts (2, 5, 6, 7) between the fabric and the lining of the item of apparel Edges of the styling inserts may be over-locked to obviate fraying. In particular, edges of machine-washable canvas chest and sleeve inserts may be over-locked. The edges of the lining material may be over-locked to obviate fraying. There may be at least one pocket (12), a bag of which may be secured to an adjacent seam to obviate creasing during washing. There may be two pockets (15) which may comprise front pockets each bag of which may be secured to a side seam by a tape sewn into that side seam. Facings (14) of the item may be stitched to fronts by a blind stitch, to obviate creasing during washing. Long seams may be secured with fused tapes (17) to obviate puckering after a wash.

摘要： An injection molding method which injects a first resin in a first cavity (1) and a second resin in a second cavity (2) with a flexible fabric and porous membrane (3) spanning the interior of the cavity to inpart define the two cavities (1, 2). The second cavity is filled with fibers (14) and is vented via vents (6). The first resin injected into cavity (1) can penetrate the membrane (3) and fuse with the second resin in cavity (2). A nozzle (5) penetrates the membrane (3) with the membrane forming a seal thereabout for delivery of the second resin to the cavity (2).
