    Abstract: Apparatuses and methods for physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) monitoring for multi-cell scheduling. A method includes receiving information for a number of sets of cells and information for a user equipment (UE)-specific search space (USS) set for receptions of PDCCH candidates on a scheduling cell. The USS set has a USS set identity and is associated with a downlink control information (DCI) format for scheduling on more than one cell. The method further includes determining a set of cells, from the number of sets of cells, that is associated with the USS set and a reference cell from the set of cells. A size of the DCI format is counted in a number of sizes of DCI formats for scheduling on the reference cell and is not counted in a number of sizes of DCI formats for scheduling on cells, other than the reference cell, from the set of cells.

    Abstract: A method for acknowledgement information enhancement includes receiving first information for first cells; second information for second cells; first and second DCI formats; and N PDSCHs on N cells, from the second cells, which are scheduled by a DCI format from the second DCI formats. The method further includes determining first HARQ-ACK information bits associated with the first DCI formats and second HARQ-ACK information bits associated with the second DCI formats. The second HARQ-ACK information bits include, for the DCI format, M=Σi∈N Mi HARQ-ACK information bits corresponding to receptions of the N PDSCHs on N cells, in ascending order of cell indexes for the N cells and (Mmax−M) HARQ-ACK information bits with NACK values that are appended to the M HARQ-ACK information bits. The method further transmitting a channel that includes a HARQ-ACK codebook generated by appending the second HARQ-ACK information bits to the first HARQ-ACK information bits.

    Abstract: Apparatuses and methods for acknowledgement information for multi-cell scheduling in a wireless communication system. A method of a user equipment (UE) includes receiving first information for a set of cells and second information for first time-domain resource allocation (TDRA) tables. The first TDRA tables correspond to respective first cells from the set of cells. An entry of a TDRA table from the first TDRA tables indicates a time resource for a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) reception on a cell from the first cells. The method further includes identifying a second TDRA table, determining acknowledgment information corresponding to the set of cells based on a union of rows of the first TDRA tables and the second TDRA table, and transmitting a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) with the acknowledgment information. An entry of the second TDRA table indicates time resources for receptions of first PDSCHs on the set of cells.

    Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for scheduling via multiple physical downlink control channels (PDCCHs). A method for a user equipment (UE) includes receiving a first PDCCH that provides a first downlink control information (DCI) format and a second PDCCH that provides a second DCI format.
