摘要： The present invention provides a disk unit suitable for recording and reproducing time-series continuous data such as AV data.When data received as data to be written into recording medium is audio and/or video data, (this data is called AV data hereinafter), address information 403c identifying a beginning sector of the recording medium in which the data has been written is registered in file control information 402. Also, it is determined whether or not the AV data is contiguous with AV data just before written. If it is contiguous, the beginning sector is not registered in control information storage means. Thus continuous data can be handled as one piece of data.

摘要： In one embodiment, a write/read apparatus includes an external interface section for data input; an external interface section for data output; a memory for temporarily storing the data that is input through the external interface section for data input and written on the recording medium and the data that is read from the recording medium and sent to the outside through the external interface section for data output; an address generating section for generating unique addresses associated with physical block addresses of the recording medium; a flag generating section for generating flags for prohibiting overwriting of the data to be written on the recording medium; and a processing section for adding the unique addresses generated in the address generating section to the data that is stored in the memory and that is to be written on the recording medium. The data with the addition of the flags generated in the flag generating section and the unique addresses is written on the recording medium.

摘要： Disclosed is a comb-vibration preventing structure for a hair cutter including a cutter body 4 and a cutting-length adjusting comb 3 adapted to be fitted on an upper portion of the cutter body 4 and vertically moved in a sliding manner so as to adjust a cutting length. The comb-vibration preventing structure comprises a wire spring (elastic member) 10 for urging each of opposite inner side surfaces 3a, 3b of the cutting-length adjusting comb 3 in an outward thrusting manner in an opposite lateral direction P. The comb-vibration preventing structure can prevent vibrations of the cutting-length adjusting comb to reduce chatter noises, and achieve enhanced usability while facilitating quality control.

摘要： A signal processing device for analog-to-digital converting a burst signal has a feature of selecting a data bus to notify a disk control device of a conversion result via an NRZ data bus. The disk control device stores the result of the analog-to-digital conversion of the servo positional signal. The positional signal of a head of the disk device is digitized in a R/W channel. Sampling for digital conversion is performed in only a window which is defined only in the vicinity of peaks of the positional signal. The values of peaks which are obtained by sampling are averaged by an averaging circuit. This enables the influence of noise occurred outside of the window to be eliminated. Although the noise in the window is sampled, its adverse influence is suppressed by the averaging processing.
