摘要： A device receives an attachment request from a user device, and determines whether the user device is a stationary device based on the attachment request. The device further establishes a connection between the user device and a network by using local components associated with the device when the user device is the stationary device. The local components perform functions performed by one or more of a remote mobility management entity (MME) device, a remote serving gateway (SGW), or a remote packet data network (PDN) gateway (PGW) associated with the device. The device also transmits data from the network to the user device via the local components associated with the device after establishing the connection between the user device and the network.

摘要： An outdoor broadband unit implements a library of commands to communicate between a wide area network (WAN)-side Long-Term Evolution (LTE) module and a local area network (LAN)-side broadband home router within the outdoor broadband unit. The commands are used for control plane operations to facilitate LTE network sessions for individual devices within a customer premises LAN. In some cases, the commands are also used for communicating with a remote device manager.

摘要： A combined gateway, for a fixed wireless network, includes a structure mounted to a customer premises, and a satellite antenna mechanically coupled to the structure. The combined gateway also includes an outdoor broadband unit mechanically coupled to the structure via an adjustable extension arm. The outdoor broadband unit connects to the satellite antenna via a first communication link, and connects to customer premises equipment via a second communication link. Adjustment of the extension arm permits movement of the outdoor broadband unit relative to a position of the satellite antenna.

The base station detects network congestion associated with the IP wireless access network and applies, to the subscriber traffic over a particular bearer, the weight factor, the ABR value, and/or the MBR value to manage the network congestion.
