摘要： A stamp cartridge including a frame, an ink-permeated body, and a heat-sensitive stencil sheet. The frame has a plate and a peripheral wall together defining a first recess to a first side of the plate and a second recess to a second side of the plate. The ink-permeated body is disposed in the second recess so that a surface of the ink-permeated body is framed by the peripheral wall. The heat-sensitive stencil sheet covers the framed surface of the ink-permeated body and an outer periphery of the peripheral wall. A portion of the heat-sensitive stencil sheet is folded into the first recess. A cap member can also be fitted in the first recess to press the portion of the heat-sensitive stencil folded into the first recess against an inner surface of the peripheral wall.

摘要： A tape printer for making adhesive labels includes a tape supply, a printer for reverse printing on the tape and a double-sided adhesive film, one side of which is laminated to the printer tape and the other side of which carries a release paper. The printer has a cutter for cutting the tape from the continuous supply tape and includes a trimmer for rounding the corners of the tape to reduce defoliation of the tape from the surface to which it is applied. The cutting blade of the trimmer has a central straight section, contiguous arcuate sections at each end of the central straight section and auxiliary straight cutting edges contiguous with the arcuate sections and extending at an obtuse angle to the central straight section. The cutting blade is mounted in an integrally molded support unit which includes guide members for guiding the width of tape to be trimmed by the cutting blade. The support unit is detachably mounted on a tape support member so that tapes of differing widths can be trimmed by interchanging the support units. Levers for actuating the cutting blade are movable from a position to actuate the cutter to a retracted position enabling replacement of the support unit.

摘要： A printer wherein printing is effected while a print head and a recording medium are moved relative to each other with the print head in pressed contact with the medium. The printer includes a print-head support member for supporting the print head movably between a printing position and a release position. The printer further includes a support member and a displaceable member which are connected by an elastic member, so that the print head is moved from the release position to the printing position, and the print head in the printing position is pressed against the medium. The displacement of the displaceable member consists of a first movement for moving the print head to the printing position, and a second movement for enabling the elastic member to produce a biasing force for pressing the print head against the medium. An amount of displacement of the displaceable member per unit angle of rotation of the rotatable member is greater in the first movement than in the second movement.
