摘要： A camera uses a film cartridge containing photographic film having a magnetic medium for the recording of data by a magnetic head of the camera. To clean the head a cartridge containing a cleaning film is loaded in the camera. The camera detects the loading of this cartridge, inhibits the operation of an exposure mechanism, and winds and rewinds the cleaning film. The number of cleaning operations may be stored in a memory of the camera, and the cleaning film may have a magnetic medium on which the number of cleaning operations by the cleaning film is recorded by the magnetic head and from which the number of recorded cleaning operations is read by the magnetic head.

摘要： In a camera having a focal plane shutter, a magnet restrains the rearward shutter curtain in response to the supply of power to the magnet. A control device controls the period of power supply, and the restraint of the rearward shutter curtain is released when the power supply is terminated. A detecting circuit detects the termination of the power supply and outputs a detection signal. Another detecting circuit responsive to the movement of the forward shutter curtain outputs another detection signal. A selector selects one of the detection signals and inputs the selected signal to a starting circuit, which responds to the selected signal to start a flash emission.

摘要： A photographic camera for use in conjunction with a flash device is provided with a warning apparatus which provides a warning signal when a selected shutter speed is beyond a shutter speed range synchronizable with the light emission from the flash device. The warning apparatus comprises a circuit for providing a signal indicating that the selected shutter speed is faster than a limit shutter speed, beyond which the shutter cannot be synchronized with the flash. A charge detection circuit detects the completion of charging of the flash device. A warning indication that the selected shutter speed is faster than the limit shutter speed is provided only upon completion of charging of the flash device, thereby conserving battery power.
