    摘要: A non-reciprocal circuit element capable of improving an isolation characteristic without increasing an insertion loss includes a permanent magnet, a ferrite arranged to receive a direct-current magnetic field from the permanent magnet, and first and second center electrodes disposed on the ferrite. One end of the first center electrode is connected to an input port, whereas the other end is connected to an output port. One end of the second center electrode is connected to the output port, whereas the other end is connected to a ground port. A matching capacitor and a resistor are connected between the input port and the output port. An inductor and a capacitor constituting an LC resonant circuit are connected in series with the resistor.

A protection layer is formed on the surface of the copper target from a corrosion-resistant metal. Accordingly, the oxidation of the copper target can be suppressed. Thus, the formation of a contaminant layer on the shielding plate of the sputtering system can be suppressed, and resultantly the adhesion of particles to a substrate due to the release of a deposited layer on the surface of the shielding plate can be suppressed.

    摘要: A two-port isolator includes a metal case including an upper metal case and a lower metal case, a permanent magnet, a central electrode assembly made of a ferrite and central electrodes, and a laminated substrate. In the central electrode assembly, the first and second central electrodes are disposed on the top surface of the disk-shaped microwave ferrite such that the first and second central electrodes intersect each other at right angles with an insulating layer therebetween. The electrode width of the first central electrode is different from the electrode width of the second central electrode. Thus, the inductance of the first central electrode and the inductance of the second central electrode are different from each other.

    摘要: A compact and highly reliable nonreciprocal circuit device can be manufactured at low cost. Marking is clearly performed on a surface of the nonreciprocal circuit device. In a method of manufacturing the nonreciprocal circuit device, after components constituting the device are joined together, solder is applied at portions where the components are bonded with each other. The magnetic force of a permanent magnet is adjusted and then laser marking is performed on a surface of a metal case. Next, the nonreciprocal circuit device is heated to perform together solder bonding, thermal aging of the permanent magnet, and the removal of stains left due to marking. Then, after checking the characteristics of the device, delivery inspection is conducted to complete the manufacturing process.
