Abstract:
A re-keyable cylinder lock includes a plug inserted into a lock housing and having a plurality of radial holes connected to a key hole. The lock housing has a first engaging element provided in an inner surface thereof. A limit unit has a second engaging element and is inserted into one of the radial holes located at a predetermined depth of the key hole. The first engaging element engages the second engaging element to limit the plug from rotating when a replacement key which is inserted into the key hole for re-keying does not reach a predetermined depth of the key hole. Incomplete re-keying can therefore be prevented.
Abstract:
A latch-bolt mechanism includes a housing, a latch-bolt, and a distance-adjusting device. The latch-bolt is movable relative to the housing between an extended position and a retracted position. The distance-adjusting device includes a movable unit movable in the housing between first and second vertical positions and including a first drive member for driving movement of the latch-bolt from the extended position to the retracted position when the movable unit is disposed at either the first or second vertical positions, and a fastener unit for locking the movable unit releaseably at a selected one of the first and second vertical positions.
Abstract:
A multi-lamp backlight system is disclosed. The multi-lamp backlight system includes a plurality of lamps, an inverter circuit and a current balance circuit. The inverter circuit is capable of converting a DC input signal to a pair of AC output signals, which have a 180 degree phase shift. The pair of AC output signals are delivered to the plurality of lamps. The current balance circuit is connected to the low voltage sides of the plurality of lamps for balancing the lamp currents.
Abstract:
An adjustable device for an auxiliary lock to be mounted on a door for security purpose, comprises an adaptor and a guard collar, wherein the adaptor comprises a first section with a smaller diameter, a second section with a larger diameter, a third section connecting the first and the second sections, a fourth section connecting to the third section; the guard collar has a first recess and a second recess to receive the fourth section, respectively, whereas if the fourth section matches into the first recess, the first section of the adaptor is available to the door with a smaller lock hole, and whereas the fourth section matches into the second recess, the second section of the adaptor is available to the door with a larger lock hole.
Abstract:
A latch bolt operating device is adapted for use with a latch bolt unit that is installed in a door panel, and includes exterior and interior operating units. The exterior operating unit includes a key-operated plug-and-cylinder lock assembly, and an exterior housing having an outer annular cover, an inner annular cover and an annular shield. The outer annular cover has a rear end portion formed with a first annular shoulder. The inner annular cover is received in the outer annular cover and has a rear end portion formed with a second annular shoulder. The annular shield extends into the rear end portion of the inner annular cover and has a peripheral portion which engages the second annular shoulder when the latter is bent. The interior operating unit includes a torque bar and an interior housing. The torque bar can be positioned releasably in a first position corresponding to an extended position of a bolt of the latch bolt unit and a second position corresponding to a retracted position of the bolt.
Abstract:
An inner handle assembly of a door lock includes a handle with an axle. A mounting cap has an axial hole for passage of the axle and a through-hole offset from the axial hole. A spindle driving plate has a central hole engaging fittingly a spindle of the door lock. A manually operable lock unit has a button member extending outwardly through the through-hole and mounted for movement in an axial direction between locking and unlocking positions, and an engagement member in connection with the button member. The engagement member engages the spindle driving plate for locking against rotation of the spindle driving plate when the lock unit is at the locking position. A rotary member is mounted on the axle within the mounting cap for rotating simultaneously the axle. The rotary member moves axially and outwardly the engagement member to disengage from the spindle driving plate when the axle is turned to rotate the rotary member. The axle retards rotation of the spindle driving plate so that the spindle driving plate starts to rotate after the lock unit is moved to the unlocking position.
