The distance-adjusting device includes a movable unit movable in the housing between first and second vertical positions and including a first drive member for driving movement of the latch-bolt from the extended position to the retracted position when the movable unit is disposed at either the first or second vertical positions, and a fastener unit for locking the movable unit releaseably at a selected one of the first and second vertical positions.

    摘要： A re-keyable cylinder lock has a control member to permit or restrict transverse movement of a re-keying unit. The control member is movable axially between first and second positions and transversely to a third position from the second position. In the third position, the re-keying unit moves transversely and disengages from first tumbler pieces. A limit member is provided to prevent the control member from moving axially when no right key is inserted into a plug. A security arm is connected to the control member and is breakable so that destructive forces cannot reach the control member.

    摘要： In a handle-returning device of a cylinder lock assembly, a support base has an inner annular flange and an axial spring-retaining lug. A rotation driver has an inner tubular wall extending into the inner annular flange of the support base, and a spring driving element. A torsion spring is disposed around the inner annular flange and between the support base and the rotation driver, and has a spring leg abutting the spring-retaining lug and the spring driving element. A rotary plate abuts the support base opposite to the rotation driver, and has an engaging part engaging a tongue projecting from the rotation driver. A reinforced structure is thus provided to oppose high torsional stresses produced upon rotation of a lever handle.

A locking plate is sleeved around the locking spindle and has a radial locking part to engage a protrusion that projects radially and inwardly from an inner surface of the enlarged end portion so that the locking spindle is locked against movements to an unlocked state when the locking spindle is in its locked state.

    摘要： A retaining assembly includes a hollow casing mounted on a door. The casing has a horizontal wall portion formed with a through-hole and an upright rotary shaft which has an end portion that extends out of the casing through the wall portion and which is rotatable relative to the casing. A coupling rod has a first end portion connected pivotally to a door frame and a second end portion connected to the end portion of the shaft so as to, drive rotatably the shaft in a first direction when the door moves relative to the door frame to an open position. A pin has an end portion which is normally biased to extend out of the casing via the through-hole. An elongated positioning plate has a first end portion and a second end portion which is coupled releasably and selectively to the end portion of the shaft such that the first end portion is displaced by a variable initial angle, corresponding to the open position, with respect to the pin when the door is in a closed position. The positioning plate is rotatable with the shaft in the first direction to a position where the pin engages the first end portion of the positioning plate by a friction force sufficient to arrest releasably rotation of the shaft in a second direction opposite to the first direction so as to retain releasably the door at the open position.

    摘要： A device for holding and adjusting the opening angle of a door includes a first lever having a forked end with two generally parallel lugs which are respectively provided with substantially aligned first and second pivot holes, and a second lever which has a journal member for insertion into the first pivot hole, the journal member having a threaded hole and a first engagement surface. A first detent member is inserted between the parallel lugs and has a pivot slot aligned with the first and second pivot holes. The first detent member further includes a second engagement surface for engagement with the first engagement surface, and a detent face. A resilient second detent member is mounted inside the first lever inwardly of the forked end to engage the detent face.

A press button rod is connected to the press button for simultaneous rotation with the press button.
