The side straps (3, 4) form opposite strap strands transversely to their longitudinal direction, where at least some of the opposite side straps (3, 4) are connected to each other by cross-members (5, 6), the ends of at least some of which display a bearing area (7) with an essentially cylindrical journal (10), extending in the longitudinal direction, for pivotable mounting in a bearing seat (8) on an associated side strap (3, 4).To improve the angular stability of the side straps when the cross-member is opened, it is proposed that the journal (10) display a first flattened section (12) on its lateral surface. To receive the journal (10), the bearing seat (8) comprises an essentially cylindrical space (13) with a flattened section (15), where the flattened section (15) of the cylindrical space (13) and the first flattened section (12) of the journal (10) lie opposite each other in a closed position of the cross-member (5, 6).

    摘要: An energy guiding chain for guiding cables, flexible tubes or the like comprises a plurality of chain links (1, 2, 3) which are articulated to each other and which each include two lateral straps (1a, 1b, 2a, 2b, 3a, 3b) and upper and lower cross-members (4) connecting said lateral straps. For arranging the cross-members for easy pivoting on both lateral straps, while designing the lateral straps as slim as possible, and for guaranteeing smooth and correct sliding of the upper strand on the lower strand, it is provided that both the upper and lower cross-members (4) include on both ends thereof two cylindrical bearing parts (12) that can be inserted in pocket-like bearing receivers (13) arranged on the lateral strap which points towards the respective end of the cross-member, wherein said bearing receivers project on the sides of the lateral straps which point towards the interior of the chain, wherein the lateral straps include snap-action means having a snap tab that cooperates with a locking bar arranged on the respective end of the cross-member (4), and wherein the cross-members (4) on both ends thereof in the axial direction outside of the bearing parts (12) each include a projection extending in the longitudinal direction of the cross-member (4) and with a contact surface thereof resting against the side of a lateral strap pointing towards the interior of the chain, in the locking position of the cross-member.

    摘要: The invention relates to a joint element for an energy guiding chain for guiding hoses or cables, with a number of chain links displaying opposite side straps, where upper and lower cross-members are provided on at least some of the side straps, where the joint element displays at least two mounting areas that can be connected to adjacent or spaced chain links in order to connect them to each other in articulated fashion, so that the energy guiding chain can be deposited to form a lower strand, a deflection zone and an upper strand. The joint element is developed in that an element is provided on it that is made of a material having greater conductivity than the joint element material and continuously bridges the at least two mounting areas. The bridging element displays at least two contact areas located on the surface of the joint element, each of which can be connected in electrically contacting fashion to the two chain links associated with the two mounting areas. As a result, the energy guiding chain displays a long service life, even when exposed to very great mechanical stresses, can be used in ESD protection zones, and has no tendency towards electrostatic charging.

The chain link consists of a plurality of individual parts, namely two side plates made of plastic, comprising an interior side facing the interior of the chain link, an exterior side facing away therefrom and two narrow sides running substantially parallel to the longitudinal direction, and at least one, more particularly two transverse connecting pieces for detachably connecting the side plates, comprising a center part and a fastening portion at each end of the transverse connecting piece on both sides. The side plates have, on at least one narrow side, a corresponding fastening region for frictionally fastening a transverse connecting piece, namely a clamping receptacle which has two clamping surfaces, which are opposite one another in the longitudinal direction and between which a complementarily shaped fastening portion of the at least one separate transverse connecting piece is clamped. Each transverse connecting piece has two support protrusions on each fastening portion, each support protrusion having a support surface for resting against the interior side of the side plate in order to achieve a robust connection.
