The invention relates to a dyeing composition comprising a fluorescent disulphide dye and to a method of dyeing keratin materials, with a lightening effect, that employs said composition. It likewise relates to new fluorescent disulphide dyes and to their uses in the lightening of keratin materials. This composition allows a particularly persistent lightening effect to be obtained.

The present invention relates to processes for neutralizing relaxed hair. Still further, the present invention relates to neutralizer compositions for use on relaxed hair. Still further, the present invention relates to a system for neutralizing relaxed hair. Yet further, the invention relates to relaxed hair neutralized by the compositions and methods disclosed herein. The present invention also relates to compositions and methods to simultaneously neutralize and color relaxed hair.

A method levels hair color, especially lighter colored hair or including lightened streaks or bleached streaks or bleached as a whole and after certain period of time contrast—difference in color—between the re-growth and formerly lightened parts is clearly visible. The method comprises at least two parts wherein one part being the part not closer to scalp which is artificially color changed to a lighter color by means of lightening and/or coloring and/or bleaching than the other part closer to scalp which is preferably undamaged and has its natural color, wherein hair is optionally shampooed and optionally towel dried and the part directly at the scalp, preferably undamaged and preferably has its natural color, is applied a composition resulting from mixing two compositions, A and B, prior to application.

The present invention is drawn to a composition and method for lifting color and/or imparting shine onto keratinous substrates, the composition containing: (a) at least one fatty quaternary amine compound; (b) at least one nonionic surfactant; (c) at least one phosphate ester chosen from alkoxylated alkyl phosphate esters and alkyl phosphate esters; and (d) at least one oxidizing agent. The compositions of the present invention may optionally contain at least one thickening agent, at least one alkaline agent, at least one fatty substance other than a fatty acid, and at least one salt.

Disclosed are cationic polymeric dye with a hue value of h=210° to 330° comprising: a) a polymer backbone, b) a residue of an organic dye, and c) optionally colorless organic groups, wherein (b) and (c) are covalently bound to the polymer backbone (a), and wherein the cationic charges can independently be part of the dye or the colorless organic groups. The dyes are distinguished by their depth of shade and their good fastness properties to washing, such as, for example, fastness to light, shampooing and rubbing.
