摘要： A separating device comprising an assembly of sloping passages, in which components of a liquid moving through this assembly are separated therefrom, which components are separately removed at an extremity of this assembly. This assembly is composed of tubes, troughs or corrugated plates delimiting sets of plural passages connected by narrower channels, the liquid to be treated being supplied to one passage, and the separated components passing through a connected channel into another passage, from which it may be removed out of contact with the liquid. Special guiding partitions may be arranged at a discharge end of such an assembly for suppressing turbulences.

摘要： An inclined plate sedimentation device includes a plurality of parallel spaced inclined plates, each at a plate inclination angle relative to a horizontal axis, an influent fluid source that provides a fluid to the device such that the fluid flows between the inclined plates, and at least one vibratory source operatively coupled to at least one of the inclined plates for providing vibration. The inclined plates have tapered lower ends for reducing eddy currents between adjacent inclined plates upon vibration. The vibratory source may be at least one of mechanical, electrical, air-driven, hydraulic-driven, a sonic wave device, and a microwave device.

The density baffle assembly includes a plurality of density baffles where each density baffle comprises a corrugated panel member having an upper edge, a lower edge, a first lateral side, and a second lateral side, with a corrugated pattern running across the corrugated panel member. Each density baffle also comprises a support flange integrally connected to the upper edge of the corrugated panel member. The support flange may be affixed to a wall of the water treatment system using a fastening means. Adjacent corrugated panel members may be nested together at their lateral sides and secured to each other using a fastening means.

摘要： A water clarification system for removing suspended solids from a fluid, such as sewage, using gravity. The water clarification system may include a plurality of settling plates releasably coupled to a housing. The housing positions the settling plates at acute angles relative to a substantially horizontal line using a plurality of guides. The settling plates are kept in position using one or more flanges that are releasably coupled to side walls of the housing. The water clarification system operates by receiving a fluid through an inlet orifice located near bottom sections of the plurality of settling plates. The fluid travels in the spaces between adjacent settling plates and through apertures in top flanges of the settling plates. The fluid collects in an exit channel that is formed by the top flanges of the settling plates.
